They got the generator installed and set up the new fusebox on Tuesday, switching over the requested lines. They communicated with the plumber and arranged to have him connect the necessary gas lines the next day. Then they returned to test the generator. It came on when the power was shut off, but they had a problem with it switching back when the power was restored. Couldn't figure out the problem that day, but he got in touch with the company that handles the warranty on the generator and found out how to solve the problem. Came back on Thursday and fixed the problem. They did a very good job of following through to make sure everything worked and answering all of our questions. Of course, until we have an actual power outage we won't know for sure

Installers Lee and Dustin did a great job along with plumber John.They did the entire delivery and installation in 1 day. Gave us a manual and walked us though how the generator worked.We had a test run before they left.It was a really good experience.

Mid-Ohio Generators
We had Steve from Mid-Ohio Generator give us an estimate on installing a back-up generator for our house. Steve was very knowledge about the different options and explained the costs involved. Steve mentioned that our current gas line and meter might not be sufficient to support a generator. It turned out that Steve was right. We needed to upgrade our gas line and meter, which added quite a bit of additional cost to the project. We decided to still go ahead with the generator, but were at the mercy of Columbia Gas to schedule the installation of our new line and meter. It took almost 2 months for Columbia Gas to come and do the project. The generator installation itself went very smoothly and the crew was personable and professional. Steve had warned us that the gas company would not connect the new meter, which is located outside, to the gas lines inside our house. As such, he had people on stand-by on the day Columbia Gas was doing the work to hook up our internal gas lines with the new meter, which we really appreciated. We will use Mid-Ohio Generator to service our generator annually. I would recommend Steve to anyone who is looking to install a generator

I would highly recommend using Gioffre for any work you need done. I called and left a message for Joe. The next day I received a call back. We scheduled a day and time for the work and Rich showed up right on time (calling me 1/2 hour beforehand). Rick did the work as specified and cleaned up after he was done. Rick also let us know if there was any follow up issues, he would be right out to take care of them. By the way, Rich also loves dogs so if you have any, he is the perfect guy for the job

Mid-Ohio Generators
The installers showed up on time around 8:30AM. They did a great job of leveling the landscape, applying gravel and anchoring the slab the generator will be placed on. The electrician was very professional and did an excellent job mounting the transfer switch next to our main circuit breaker and doing all the required wiring. The natural gas line installers also did a great job of running the gas line from our gas meter to the generator. They attached it up next to the foundation right under the cedar siding and it is not visible. The entire job took them about 7 hours. Before they left they thoroughly went over the operation of the generator as well as transfer switch. They also did a power outing simulation to be sure the generator starts up and transfer switch works properly. I would recommend Mid-Ohio Generator to anyone interested in purchasing a whole house generator

It took several days of work to do. It is an old house in a picky neighborhood that requires various inspections along the way. The people they sent were able to work with the idiosyncrasies of an old house. They were respectful of my landscaping and dug out old shrubs so I could protect them. They were mindful of my old cat who likes to try to escape. I got 3 or 4 bids. I got a comparison. They had good ratings. Their bid came in considerably less than some of the others. Three man crew arrived about 9 A.M. and installed generator with all electrical wiring and connection to the natural gas line. All work and cleanup was completed by 5 P.M. Workmen were professional and courteous and did an excellent job. They returned 10 days later to change the oil and will be back in a year for first annual maintenance checkup. We're very pleased

The generator installation very well. I would give them an A+ on that. Rob responded to my calls within a reasonable time, And generally answered any questions I had. The kitchen lighting went well except for one light that was installed where a cabinet was supposed to be installed. Rob removed that and the cabinet was installed. There was also a dimmer switch for the dining room that was supposed to be mounted in the kitchen (Or dining room) that never got replaced. All in all I think Rob did a good job. He was easy to work with and knows his profession well. If it weren't for the dimmer switch I would've given Rob a 'B'. I don't give out 'A's' unless the work is excellent, done exactly the way I wanted, and complete
