Pretty good, with a few glitches. HVAC equipment went very well: all function fine;installed plumbing, "clean", "neat". Duct installed was by different team: They did not follow directions and marks on duct mods;duct runs down center of crawlspace rather than side. Metro offered to fix;still may have them out to do. Cold air return was noisy;they came out right away to fix it, and replaced outdoor fusebox they missed. Asked for in writing to have Honeywell top of the line VisionPro thermostat, including "smart"learning function (learns from prior day/time how long to achieve next set point, better comfort). Metro installed almost comparable Trane unit (does not "learn"); I have been too busy to ask them to replace w/ Honeywell). Clean-up and disposal after work very good (not present to verify captured old refrigerant, but think they did fine). Trane AC unit quality wanting somewhat: Outside AC unit has "Tinsel" cooling fins rather than metal disks;will get dirty fastshow more

Very well. A relatively large job since the house has no ducts or raceways for air ducts. One installed in the basement, one in the attic. New duct openings installed and new ductwork run to each room. The ducts were field run and we had a concern about the obtrusiveness of the system. We've had EcoPlumbers do several projects in our house. This time, they did whole house vent cleaning. Daniel and Junior explained each step clearly, took time to set up carpet and corner protection to prevent damage from equipment, and carefully moved and replaced furniture. They thoroughly cleaned all the ducts and air returns, which took most of the day. Although it was a long day for them, they were courteous and good-humored throughout. Technicians were professional but a little late. Did a good job replacing some duct work. However the process to get to that was AWFUL. In the midst of a heat wave, my estimate appointment was apparently cancelled, without any warning to me. I called an hour after they were to be here and they said they had other emergencies to deal with, which I understand. But I would have liked to be notified once they knew they couldn't make it! Another representative called after I had scheduled a new appointment and did tell me about the missed 1st appointment, but again this was an hour AFTER it was scheduled (and after I called!). They never got a consistent time window for me to work with, and though they were supposed to call me (per my technician's words) to firm up the installation after the estimate visit, they did not, and I had to call. They were prompt, professional and cleaned up afterwards. Their price was a bit more than other estimates we got but we went with them because we felt more confident in their ability to do the duct work. We had some special requests regarding some duct work and they spent the time to go over options for how to do the duct work with us and gave us what we wanted. Their worker Kenny was great. I have not cleaned my air ducts since I moved in many years ago. Kenny did not make me feel bad about how filthy the ducts were, though I know that he was working so hard that he was sweating the air ducts were pretty dirty. He arrived on time, and he spent over 7 hours making sure that ever vent was cleaned, and every cover was replaced correctlyshow more
