Scott and his crew thoroughly cleaned my deck to prepare it staining. A few days later (after the deck had thoroughly dried), Scott and a colleague arrived (on a Saturday) to stain the deck. After verifying the color I wanted (Cedar tone), covering plants and shrubs around my deck, they began applying the stain. In a few hours, the entire deck, railing, balusters, and the supports underneath the deck had been stained a uniform color. It looked great. 24 hours later, the deck available for use. The staining process weathered the cold and snowy winter very well. After the snow and ice melted, the deck still look as good as it had in the Fall. I couldn't have been happier with the results. The powerwashing beautifully cleaned the house and deck. The deck was difficult to stain because our trees were dropping seeds and petals on the deck all day long. The crew was extremely hard working and diligent about repeatedly blowing the debri off the deck, in order to provide us with an excellent smooth finish with the stain. It went great. They powerwashed the deck on a Tuesday, and 2 guys worked the next day to scrape, sand, and paint the deck. They worked us in between rains & worked an extra long day (over 13 hours) to get the job done in time for a party, as we had hopefully requested. I called Buckeye House Painting, they came out within the week to give an estimate to power wash and stain my deck. From there, we set up an appointment to power wash the deck. They then came out about a week later and stained the deck. It was a very efficient process. All of the employees that came by were very kind and professionalshow more

They did a great job. They were very punctual and professional. They took a sample of the deck paint from the previous paint job, perfectly matched it and painted the entire deck, railing and steps. The Deck Escape team was professional, informative and friendly. I never would have thought to sand the deck floor to get it back to a like new look. Power washing took considerably longer than anticipated, but the team persisted until it was done. They arrived on time, cleaned up at the end of each day, and worked around the persistent bad weather before and when the work was being done. The house painting went well and only needed one touch up which still has not been completed. The deck on the other hand was a total nightmare. The deck started to flake the newly painted color in the middle of the winter. Which I was told since the winter was so hard and that I had a dog the deck would flake. The flaking turn to pealing and now the entire deck must be strip, cleaned, and repainted. They ruined my deck and are refusing to make it correct. Since they said they do not warranty decks at all even for workmanship. I did my home work and called Behr about this issue. Behr paint said that the painters did not prep the deck correctly. Behr requires that the deck be cleaned with their cleaner first. I know that this was not complete because I was home when this painting happened. I am stil in discussion with MC Painting trying to get this resolved. If they fix this issue I will change my reviewshow more

Everything went perfectly. They came on schedule to power wash the deck and two days later came to do the staining. They put two coats on in a morning and they did it without any overspray and covered the deck completely. They also did an excellent job with post staining clean up. I was very satisfiedshow more

When it was time to get our two story all cedar house painted, we didn't hesitate to call Roger with Davy Painting to get it done. They had painted our house previously and it held up beautifully. This time was no different. Jim, Anthony and Anthony did an amazing job. Any repairs that needed to be done prior to painting were no problem for them at all. This is the third time we have used Stauffer to paint exterior portions of our home. The first time was the deck and Jerry painted that himself, the second time it was the deck and all exterior wood including my mailbox and repair work for rotten places and we had sub-contrators and this third time just with the deck again and sub-contrators. I contacted Jerry via email on a Saturday and they were out on Tuesday to powerwash the deck. The gentleman even helped me move the gas grill inside and off the deck. Sub-contrator and wife came at predetermined time and finished the work in one day.
