They came up with some great ideas that we could pick from and solved many of our problems with our existing floor as well as came up with the best option by far. Do not ever hire. He is the worst business man I have ever encountered. Totally unprofessional. Poor quality workmanship. Never returned phone calls or texts. We went weeks without communication and had no idea what was happening. Had to have another concrete vendor totally replace the poor quality work that this company did. I did research and had many bids from a lot of companies. I contacted this company and he came to my house the next day. His bid was half the cost of the others and he gave me a discount if I would sign the contract then. He was able to start the next day. The results are fabulous. The surface always looks clean. It blends with the surroundings. It gave the surface some pizazz, without sticking out. I have had people drive by and stop to ask about my drive. The coating keeps snow and ice from sticking. SealMaxx cleaned, stained and sealed our front porch and walkway. It really adds to the curb appeal of our home and covered some stains the previous owner left on the porch. We also cleaned and sealed our driveway. We are hoping it will reduce the wear by protecting it. We were very impressed by the responsiveness of this company. We wanted to get this project completed and they worked to fit us into their schedule. I asked a ton of questions and Tim would always respond with thorough answers for me. The only time that Anthony responsed on time was to receive his cash requested payment. The work was done in June of 2013. Over the winter the stains started to come off. After numerous calls, Anthony did come to to look at the stain job. Stated that he had a bad batch of stain, and that he would have to do some research to fix the problem. Never saw Anthony, but did return a call in the fall, and stated that he did not know what to do. Anthony did come out to the house in early spring of 2015, and said that would fix the areas before fall. Fall came and went. Last month, we noticed a crack running the entire width of the patio. Max McClellan is the owner and a true professional. It's rare when we have had such a positive experience with a contractor ever. They are easy to work with, neat, collaborative and reasonably priced. When we got estimates to do our patio, I would say that Midwest Masonry came in slightly higher than average, but was not the most expensive. The quality work that they have done far surpassed our expectations. Overall we are very pleased with the job they performed for us. The finished product is a beautiful and unique feature for our entertainment room that really sets the room apart. We were actually surprised at how expensive it really looks. We couldn't find many companies capable of doing this type of work, but their pricing was very competitive considering the impression they made on us during the sales process. The staff were friendly, considerate, and helpful when explaining things. We actually learned a great deal about various concrete options available to us while we are remodeling our home and we plan on adding a patio later in the year. In addition we have referred C&W to several friends who have all had good experiences with them. There is little we have to complain about regarding this job from start to finish. The only issue we had was that we had to wait a few weeks before the work started, and the staff seem a bit busy at times. However, all the people we dealt with always called us back, the finished product was worth the wait, and once work started it was completed quickly . Joe and his staff are exceptional workers. They worked very hard in humid conditions to clean and finish our garage floor. They applied a layer of heavy paper wrap around the lower sections of the walls to protect the wall paint from their cleaning and painting applications. Unfortunately, due to the extreme moisture in the air, some of the moisture was trapped between the layers of coating and created sections of bubbling and peeling. Max was a great communicator and very professional. Therefore, we were able to collaborate on ideas, such as adding the large limestone step and mixing a color he had not used before. He even experimented with staining the limestone by trying it out on a small sample; we decided against that, but he really didn't charge us for his time to try i. The results are fabulous. Randy came as agreed and had his employee fix drywall and painted, said his associate was better at drywall repairs. He also stain blocked part of the basement and painted it with drylock. He fixed garage cement floor. Randy installed microwave, removed a water filter from the kitchen sink, and repaired the gas line to our gas lamp. All work was done promptly, carefully, and neatly and all of this work with materials only cost a little over $70show more

The demolition of old patio went as planned. The coloring, pouring, stamping and accent stain went as planned. We had some problems with the sealer which did not have anything to do with the application but with the product itself. Max and his crew came out numerous times to make sure it was perfect. Most impressive was the fact that they kept coming back to get it right long after they were paid in full. Max and his team are great. After a phone conversation during which I indicated the services I needed, Jim Perry came to my home, measured and drew out the area I wanted to be replaced. He then contacted me and met with me to discuss the options for stamping patterns, colors of stain, and ways to handle a drainage concern I had as my property is downhill from a roadway. He had several very good suggestions, not all of which I was able to afford at the time. He was able to find a way to deal with the runoff and provide the asphalt driveway and stamped concrete patio I wanted. He then explained both processes, provided an approximate timeline and the estimate. Both projects were handled very professionally, in the timeframe he had promised and at the cost we had agreed upon. I could not be happier. I will use the company again to seal the driveway and to replace a walkway perhaps next spring. While his was not the cheapest estimate I got, it was fair and I felt Jim took the time to listen to my concerns and to respond to them. Money well spentshow more

Went pretty well. This was a tough job b/c we have an old 1920's home w/ many layers of previous work and our driveway and garage have an interesting curve to them that made the job somewhat more challenging. This was also the company's first time doing acid staining, which was quite the experience! We had several mishaps throughout the job such as: the original design was not drawn to scale on the estimate so when it was actually done everything was off-center so we had to redo a portion of the driveway; the stamp pattern also went crooked on this same portion of the driveway due to the curve of the driveway and this had to be redone as well; they workers dumped their concrete mix leftovers all over our yard and ruined half of our yard b/c of this; then when everything was done we got 2 hairline cracks in the driveway that went the whole width of the driveway! I was not happy about this and Jim took the extra time to fill in the cracks appropriately. We also discovered at the end of the job that one of the footers for the support beams (that supports an overhang roof of the house) was put in off-center and so now our beam is crooked! And then the at the final step of the project, the sealer was put on too thick and it bubbled all over the place. Jim did come back and put on another thin layer of sealer to fix this. Jim also gave us top soil and grass seed to fix our yard. The acid staining was a lot of work but very worth it. For all of the ups and downs of this project Jim was very flexible and hardworking. He was always will to work with us to get things done appropriately. Jim also charged a very fair price for all the work that was done, esp the acid staining. We are satisfied for the most part and everything is under warranty (in case the cracks expand!) so that is nice. Good company, Jim is excellent to work with. THE JOB INCLUDED AN ASPHALT DRIVEWAY OVERLAY. IT TURNED OUT VERY WELL. HOWEVER, THE CONCRETE WALKWAY CURED AND LOOKS REALLY BAD. IT HAS WHITE STAINS AND STONE, MAYBE AN INCH IN DIAMETER, EXPOSED. Chris and crew showed up and replaced the stairs in early December. The job took one day and we paid him promptly. He has a charming personality and the crew was very nice. It wasn't until March that I noticed that the stairs were not really drying and there were white spots all over them. I asked Chris to come out and look at them. He did after two days of leaving messages and told me that they just weren't dry yet because they were so thick and to wait until May. Fast forward to May and not only do they look horrible, I noticed that there was a lot of extra cement that was stuck in the crack of the patio and on the stone of our house. They did not clean up properly and the stairs looked so bad, I was embarrassed to have friends over. Chris told me back in March that if they did not look better in May he would stain them for me. I called and left messages again for two days (they use an answering service) and asked that they call me to look at the stairs and that I wanted to discuss the staining. I finally got a voice mail about 5 days after my initial message from a woman who simply said that they do not stain concrete. I've since hired another contractor to help me clean up Chris Ruh's mess. On a positive note, our door now opens so I will say that Chris and crew did a good job structurally. This was a strange experience. I was looking for a cement contractor to stain an existing floor. I called and spoke to the answering service. Chris called back and on the voice mail he told me he was so busy right now he didn't have time to do the project - but if it was an emergency to call him back. I, unfortunately, am too busy to mess around with a Chris so I hired someone else. It's a shame really, because we're looking to spend around $10,000 to $20,000 next year on a new patio..show more

Anthony worked closely with me to lay out the new design. He maneuvered his Bobcat through the narrow opening between my house and garage without ever having an issue to get to the area that needed all the work done. The crews were always professional and answered my questions. This was the 4th job I have had done with this great group of guys. This one was done with quarry stone and stain. The layout of the steps were a bit tricky because I wanted rounded steps in a smaller area. In the end, they figured out exactly how to get it all done. Anthony and his crew showed up right on time as expected. They went right to work on ripping out all the old concrete. They also helped level the yard and remove anot old tree stump while they had their Bobcat here. Anthony worked with me on a design for a new patio. We ended up going with stained quarry stone and I love it. We also did a new design on the front stairs and entryway with the same quarry stone. This is my third house that Bello Disegno has completed concrete jobs on. That includes 3 patios, 5 sidewalks, 1 garage floor and 2 driveways.
