I bought a garage door opener and they installed an outlet and charged me 400.00 and the remote did not work. I called them to have someone come out and when he came out he almost burned down my house we had to turn off the switches. The workers are nice people but the boss needs to be out of business. I now have to have a new garage door opener and I'm out another 500.00. I am madder than a hornet and she should not have a business. I cannot even stand to see her on commercials now and she should not be on Angie's List. I recommend that everyone stays as far as they canshow more

I was in the process of getting estimates for a new build and I decided to check out Claypool electric. I was getting bids in the neighborhood of 10 to 15 thousand for the job. They came in at 40 thousand. Are you serious? Their explanation was that they don't do much residential, it is mostly commercial. If that is the case, then don't bid on it. What a scashow more

We are very pleased with Big City Electric. The job started on a Monday and time ran out so it had to be finished the following Monday. I loved how everything on the list was individually priced as that helped us budget. There is still more on the list but will have to wait until next year. David is great to work with, but needs to slightly work on communication. Much of our correspondence was via email and he said he would let me know in a day or two but wouldnt hear from him for about a week. I know he is a busy man and commercial jobs are probably the companies and quot;bread and butterand quot; over residential jobs. There is a travel fee ($50.00) and 3% charge for using a credit card. I was hoping they would bill me but payment is due at the end of the job. Another thing I didnt like was the employees smoking on my property. Overall, we are pleased and I cant wait to rehire them to complete the workshow more

When building my commercial business which needed a wide range of electrical services, I interviewed many electricians claiming this expertise but Joe was the only one who had the knowledge and was affordable. The original install was perfect, expansion friendly and completed in a very timely and professional manner on budget. My needs where very dynamic and Joe worked with these changes gracefully and always kept me accurately informed of budget changes upfront. Joes right hand man, Rickie, was wonderful on sight and completed work like it was for himself. He was always on-time, pleasant, conscientious, respectful and always kept the work area cleaned up at the end of each day. Since then I have used Joe for every electrical need, which have been many, for both our primary and secondary home and my business. Much of this work presented some real electrical challenges that would have stopped others in their tracks. Joe has always been successful for me with solid economical solutions. I am no longer surprised, but rather grateful, when i receive an off hours call from Joe stating "I was thinking about your situation..". My review of Joe (and Rickie) is long overdue. I LOVE this company! About 2-3 months ago I had them install a ceiling fan in my daughter's bedroom. On Friday the 15th as we are leaving the house, she mentions to me that her fan won't turn off--I drop her off and go on to work and forget it--on the way home, I remember and call Waibel's at 2:30 hoping they can just give me some advice to stop the fan and I can schedule for next week. Well, after having me try a few things, Mark said he thought he could find someone to come over and get the fan turned off so that the motor didn't run all weekend (I didn't even think of that). So at about 3:15 an electrician pulls in the driveway and goes up and removes the fan from the ceiling. I called Waibel to thank them and let them know it was done--they told me we would be the 9:00 call on Monday morning to install a new fan. This company really gives me peace of mind to know that they take their calls seriously and will really try to help and get the job doneshow more
