Well, I tried sanding my ceiling (dumb homeowner) and completely ruined it or so I thought. They came in and made the ceiling completely smooth and gorgeous. Put fresh paint on the ceiling and walls. The roof began leaking after a heavy snowfall and thaw, and the ceiling was damaged in several places. Prim Painting responded quickly with a quote and did an excellent job replacing some of the ceiling drywall, repairing other sections of the ceiling, matching the surface texture and repainting much of the ceiling in the home. Kevin McCue came out and looked at our bathroom ceiling. The paint was pealed back and the ceiling was rough around the ceiling fan. Kevin explained the job to us - the paint was old and he usually doesn't work with real old paint. But he went ahead and fixed the ceiling and painted it. He pulled the ceiling fan and cleaned it out as well as the chamber in the ceiling (no charge). It looked like new when it was finished. Then he pulled back the peeling paint and scraped it further, as far as it would peel, and feathered the edges. He skim- coated the ceiling where it was rough and let it dry overnight. He came back and sanded and painted the ceiling, then let it dry and the put the ceiling fan back up. It was an excellent job. He explained to us every step he needed to take and what he was doing. He did all this for the amount we paid Angie's List for the Big Deal -- $125.00. We were very happy with the job and would certainly hire him again to do paint workshow more

Our ceiling had water damage around the chimney where water had seeped around the flashing. The ceiling is textured and vaulted, thus hard to reach and hard to match the texture. Tim and his team were excellent. Tim subcontracted the drywall work, but both were on time, courteous and respectful of our home. They were able to find the right equipment to repair the damaged ceiling which was two stories above the great room floor. The drywallers did an excellent job and I was amazed that we can not even tell there was a three foot hole in the ceiling and they did a great job repairing the corners and nail pops around the rest of the ceiling. After the drywall was repaired Tim came in to paint the ceiling, he even took the time to correct areas adjacent to the ceiling along the walls. All worked quickly and did a great job cleaning up from the drywall work. Will definitely work with them again to do more painting jobs around the houseshow more

There was more work involved than originally anticipated. The job was expected to take a week and ended up taking several weeks. We had problems with the quality of the drywall work, painting and trim. Rosati did correct these problems. My wife and I felt the salesman wasn't communicative enough throughout the process. In the end, the work was good and the ceiling looked good. The electrical contractor that Rosati used, Rightway, were very good and helped get Rosati's attention to fix some problems that aroseshow more

Empowered Painting was contracted by a roofer as a result of an issue with water damage to our ceiling. Empowered Painting was able to come to our house within 48 hours to complete the work. Ryan was happy to come out and ensured me that it would be a simple quick job. The painter was friendly, professional, and polite. The job was completed within 4 hours from start to finish. He cleaned up all of the mess from the mud repairs and used drop clothes to cover the furniture. While waiting on the mud to dry he gave me some pointers about painting some trim I was doing. Over the course of a week they painted: the walls, ceiling and trim of our master bedroom; the walls and ceiling of a spare bedroom; the walls and ceiling of an office and hallway; and the walls and ceiling of a very large, high ceilinged room with skylights. The crew arrived on time, worked neatly and cleanly. They paid great attention to prepping the walls. Their detail work on the edges was as close to perfect as I've ever seen. I found their price point to be reasonable - and once they were done I had realized that I actually would have paid more for the quality of the work.
