When I was having a new mattress delivered, the delivery men were also supposed to remove my old mattress and box spring. They took out the mattress, but when they flipped over the box spring, they saw a few tiny bugs, which they thought might be bed bugs. I panicked and began looking for a company to come out to verify that they were or were not bed bugs. I called The Bed Bug Inspector and they came to my home within an hour. The serviceman and his adorable dog, who is a trained bed bug detector, checked all over the house. I was told that they found no bed bugs. Although the serviceman and dog saw the bugs I had told him about, the dog apparently did not react as though they were bed bugs. What a relief! Freddie came out to do my quarterly treatment and to identify small bugs under box springs. When I was having a new mattress delivered last Friday, the delivery men saw the bugs and were afraid they might be bed bugs. A visitor to a deceased relatives house said they saw bed bugs. I doubted that as we had been working in the house for 3 months and had no indication of any kind of infestation. But to be safe we called Lee at Bed Bug Inspection and made appointment for inspection the next day. Lee arrived on time and had his "detective" beagle search the premises. No bugs were found. If your bed bugs aren't gone with the regular bed bug treatment, they will come back and spray for FREE again. They are very thorough. It did help reduce the bugs. But I still had some bugs. It may be impossible to kill all bugs in Florida. The house was vacant for a long time. He quoted a competitive price, and fully and clearly explained the process, including the significant prep work required for success. However, Scott went above and beyond, rearranging his schedule to accommodate the urgency of our situation. Not only that, but he sent us complete instructions via email on how to prepare the home, and was available by phone and email consistently throughout (and we had lots of questions!). We never even had to leave a message, so there was no opportunity for us to grow anxious or uncertain of the path forward. The Earthrite truck arrived promptly, and allowed time to adequately set up and complete a walk-through prior to treatment. There was more equipment than we imagined, all managed efficiently, as well as state-of-the-art mobile office to facilitate the transaction (leaving us with the critical paper work we needed). Scott's team was professional and thorough, and took the time to do things right rather than put at risk the success of the treatment, the integrity of the structure, or the condition of personal belongings. Scott pointed out the reasons why certain things needed to be done, even though he could have skipped a couple of those steps and we would never have known the difference. I was given the contact information from someone in the apartment community who uses Archer Pest Control. Having bed bugs was a very embarrassing and upsetting situation. Steve returned my call on the weekend and was able to come out on Monday. He was very nice and made me feel much better about the situation. He was very professional and matter of fact. He explained that he does 3 treatments, with the 3rd being for peace of mind. After the 2nd treatment we did not see any signs of pests. Steve did come for the 3rd treatment and did not see any signs either. However, he did treat the home. Steve explained that bugs happen. It is not necessarily a cleanliness issue. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I called on Tuesday morning around 8am, Stephanie answered my call on the first ring , she was very friendly and helped me to get same day service. By 10am, Karl arrived at my house ready to help. He was VERY informative and through, which helped to put my mind at ease right away. I had recently discovered beetle bugs in my house and was very concerned. Within minutes, Karl identified the source of these critters! I still wanted to sign up for reoccurring treatment services for bugs in my basement, so Karl walked me through my options and was able to call and schedule the spray treatment for same day service in order to accommodate my schedule.
