We had a bird stuck in our bathroom vent. Varment Guard came out and rescreened our vents so that no other birds could come in and removed the two birds without harming them. It was great! They were timely, professional and cleaned up after they got the birds out. I would definetely call them again.

Had a problem with birds and nests built on and behind some trim work on the front of the house. There were so many that the early morning noise made it impossible to sleep past 4:30 if the windows were open. I called Wildlife Control Co. They came out the following day, evaluated the situation, and provided a solution and estimate. I approved the estimate. They then ordered the materials and completed the work the following week. I thought the price was a bit high... but then again, labor costs are too high for everything

I had squirrels in my attic and a bird in a side vent. After extensive online research I chose Buckeye Wildlife because they were a smaller company and had great reviews. Believe the reviews, folks. This is a company that seems to value its customers over a quick buck. Louis was my tech. He was not only immediately likeable, but communicated his process, findings (including pics) and expectations of the project as he completed his inspection. When he returned to install the traps, he continued to talk through his process and educate me a bit. Instead of trying to run up the bill, Louis found ways to save me money. I am extremely satisfied and happy with the results. My squirrels are gone, and the hole was patched. The bird is gone, and a new vent cover will prevent future nesting. It is obvious that the owner of Buckeye Wildlife realizes that his employees are his greatest asset. I cannot recommend them more highly and I will not use anyone else should the need arise

I had a family of starlings that had taken up residency in my dryer vent, but have since vacated for the winter. I called up Buckeye Wildlife Solutions to see about having the nest removed and the vent covered. They explained to me the initial service fee of $199.00 over the phone (I appreciate no surprise fees), and I quickly agreed as the damage those starlings can cause could potentially cost me much more than that! They had someone out the very next day - talk about prompt service! Jordan was at my home by 8AM and finished by 9AM. He was professional, explanatory and, very importantly, thorough. They came out twice to evict the birds and then to fix the vent to make sure that the birds could not get back in. I was very happy with their service and with their professionalism. Everything was great and I would like to give them a good rating. They came out right away the next day and they were in uniform. They were very polite and very knowledgeable about birds. We found Jerry on Angie's List and contacted him. At that time, there were still baby birds in the nest. He advised us that we need to wait until the baby birds have flown, otherwise the nest removal process could result in a baby bird stuck back in the air vent pipe. As soon as the baby birds were gone, we contacted Jerry again. He came out, clean out the nest, and put a custom made screen that went over the opening but behind the cover flaps. He custom made the screen so that the air vent would look the same as all of the others instead of having a standard vent cover that would make that vent look different than the others on the house

I recently discovered that I had bats living in my shutters so I began to look into exterminators. I’m a member of Angie’s List so I started there. I went through the “recommended” and ended up leaving quite few voicemails. Upon calling Stryker I was greeted by an informative individual. She notified me that bats are protected until sometime in September but recommended I get on their list just in case. I scheduled an appointment with them since no one else was answering their phones (unusual since that would be how a company would get business). The day before my appointment I received a call from Stryker confirming the time and location. A great idea because my time (and theirs) is money. The day of the appointment the owner of the company came over. He pointed out the trouble locations and explained my options. The least expensive was removing the shutters. My shutters need replaced and he provided a few tips on how to prevent future infestations. I have a stone front so haven’t removed the shutters yet. We began to talk about additional issues I was having with spiders, other creatures and bird mites. I explained my symptoms and he provided recommendations. My most concerning were the bird mites. I had started researching them prior to talking with John so I understood his recommendations for getting rid of them. The webistes I looked at indicated it may be difficult to get rid of them (numerous treatments). We agreed on the treatments I wanted and scheduled a date. His team of three showed up and were extremely professional to deal with. We had a ton of questions and they answered EVERY one of them! They explained that it would take an hour to do the treatment then an additional three for my family to be out of the house. They also mentioned there may be a lingering odor for a few hours. That evening there were NO BUGS!! Everything gone!! I am apparently extra sensitive to the mites because no one else was getting bitten. I called Stryker and discussed the issue with John. He recommended doing an additional treatment (no cost). Since that second treatment I have not gotten bitten!! There are NUMEROUS companies that one can choose to deal with but I’ve been thoroughly impressed with these folks from my initial phone call throughout EVERY interaction with them. Strongly recommend them for any pest issues (John has a few pictures he may be willing to share)

Everyone we spoke with was professional and courteous. We got an estimate from another company before contacting Varment Guard. Varment Guard was hundreds of dollars cheaper and provided a free estimate. The quality of the work was good and they did not try to upsell additional services/goods. The only complaint is they took a while to get out to us. Would definitely use again

For both efforts, workers arrived when scheduled. We haven't had a problem with ants since that work was completed ( 4 months ago). The spots that we're aware of that birds can nest in our house are now are now protected. I like birds, but I don't want them nesting in my house.

I discovered a problem on Friday, 5/8/15. By the next day (a Saturday) at 3:00pm the problem was fixed. Now that is service! The owner of the company personally did the work with his assistant. Critters Be Gone
I called him Wednesday and he was out the next day. He did a great job. He was very meticulous. The momma flew out immediately, and the babies (who were about a week from being able to fly) were all captured and and he took them out to a tree and relocated them there. The family reunited in the tree and the oldest of the babies flew off! He was in and out in two hours. He had taken pictures for me to show me what the nest had looked like. I looked after he left and saw how great he had cleaned up the area and put all of the insulation back in place. I asked him if he would come back and take some "after" pictures. When he was there, he also gave me a lot of tips about my heating and A/C because he'd been in that field before, and even recommended some things that I could do to make my system more efficient, and also a company that could do some necessary work for me. He wound up spending an hour (if not longer) of his own time helping me with something that wasn't even in the scope of what I'd contracted him for. I'd highly recommend Chris Meyer to anyone who needs his services
