THEY INSTALLED AN ABOVE GROUND POOL I PURCHASED ON THE WEB. TO BEGIN WITH THEY WERE LATE FOR THE SCHEDULED INSTALLATION AND THEY HAD A BOBCAT DELIVERED THAT WAS THREE HOURS LATE, BECAUSE OF THIS THEY COULD NOT EVEN START THE INSTALLATION UNTIL LATER. THE POOL WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INSTALLED IN ONE DAY BUT IT ACTUALLY TOOK A TOTAL OF TWO DAYS. AFTER FILLING THE POOL WITH WATER, I NOTICED THAT ONE OF THE UPRIGHTS IS LEANING. THE BOTTOM PLATE THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE UPRIGHT IS RAISED ABOUT AN INCH. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, LEAVING THEM A DETAILED MESSAGE DESCRIBING THE SITUATION. It went quickly, spoke to owner on Thursday 5/14 morning and he stopped over later in the afternoon and gave me a quote told me he might be able to replace liner on Friday afternoon. Called that evening and said they would be here on Friday afternoon and showed up around noon had old liner out and new liner in within 2 hours. After rescheduling a pool consultation 1-2 times (owner’s doing), we decided to proceed with an agreement for a 24’ round above ground pool. It was May and we were promised the dig would begin the 2nd week of July. A contract was written & payment was given at that time. We contacted the owner, Jason, in the beginning of July to make sure we were still on track. He confirmed that it would begin in 2-3 weeks (even though it was a week later than promised). Another follow up was made by us to Jason and we were given the date of 7/21/20 to start. The day before the 21st, we again contacted Jason to confirm and make sure we had everything lined up. We received a text back stating he was headed out of town for a funeral and we needed to call him to reschedule (what?!). A few days passed and we finally heard back from him with some ridiculous story. He told us that our pool was accidentally placed in another person’s yard. He admitted that he was afraid to tell us, so we just kept getting lied to. The story was so insane, he said that person only ordered a 21’ pool. Jason does all the digging, how do you fit a 24’ pool in a 21’ hole? We did receive a refund the next day, but now we are left without a pool! There is a shortage this year and we missed out on so many others by going with this sloppy company. Our young son is devastated, he’s been so excited about having a pool all summer long. I'm writing this in the hopes that this company will correct their issues with follow up. They'd been highly recommended to us by a friend who'd used them for liner replacement. I spoke to Dan by phone 7/9 and explained we had numerous gaping and small holes in our 27' above ground pool liner. He agreed to come out by Fri 7/12 to measure, show us us sample liners and give us an idea of cost quotes. (luckily our pool was still holding water but obviously needed replaced asap) We felt Dan was very friendly and knowledgeable. We fully intended to go with his company based on our first impression and the recommendation of our friend. I was disappointed that we didn't get any real idea of cost nor was there any written estimate. And the only liners we were shown were in a book and he didn't know what if any were in stock. Dan said he'd get back to us in a couple days. We agreed that was ok and I figured sometime early Monday. By mid-afternn no call so I called him and he said he hadn't gotten the info yet. But that he'd back to me later that day or night. My husband also called him Tues and Wed and was told he'd get back to him. It's now Sun 7/21 and neither of us ever heard back from Personal Pools. Leads us to assume this company must not have been interested in our business. Or, they're so busy they're too busy. Although it was easy to get ahold of Dan, that was not the case getting the info we needed to get our pool fixed. Come to find out our friend told us, oh yea. I ran into that. You just have to keep calling him. Well, we wanted to be able to swim this summer not next. lol Needless to say, we went with another company.
