QUALITY HEDGE & TREE PRO

They were very professional, we had at least a 3 person crew at all times. Two were up in the lift trimming trees, the other(s) was on the ground helping load the branches into our trailer, so I could haul them off. One of my pet peeves is when you hire a company and the help spends half their time on the phone!!! I not only don't want to pay for them to chat, but it is also a safety issue, they need to be paying attention 100% to the job. This was not a problem with this crew, they were very professional, focused and hard working. Always arrived ahead of starting time, were very good at only taking an hour for lunch, most of the time they didn't even leave the area. Left the area very neat and tidy when they left.

They were prompt at getting us an estimate, the estimate was exact to the final cost. They came out in a timely manner and were very fast and safe at removing the tree from right by a 130+ year old house with very minimal yard damage.

We had poor service by Quality Hedge. Our experience with them was incredibly unprofessional. We had broken personal property and they did not take responsibility for any of the products that they broke. We contacted them several times and they did not respond. They left the site and did not come back but they did begin the project on time. They were incredibly rude and we would not recommend their services to other.

Part 2 of previous review. After first half of job was completed, at the cost of what the whole job was bid for,$ 14,000. We asked for a bid to complete the original job. It was bid at $9700. I will give them credit for being much more punctual and getting the work done in an appropriate amount of time. The quality of the work is good. The catch is that it cost another $14,000. So our original bit for the whole job was $14,000 dollars. The final bill for the whole job was $27,300 and change. If you decide to use this company, from my experience, plan on paynig double what they bid the job at.

Was difficult to contact but had used for small services in the future, so was patient. Asked for a bid on making two patios and redoing sprinkler system. Bid cam in at 14,000. Started work than left ot do another job, came back dod some more work, than left again. This process went on for three weeks, finally completed first patio and bill was 13,000. has yet to complete sprinkler system, lay rock or complete second patio. Asked for bid on completing job was given bid for another 9700. As of 6/25 work is still not completed. Told contractor we would like work done by 3 July. Will let you know how it goes.

I called this company three times in an effort to get them to bid on some landscaping work in front of my home. Three times I was told "someone will be out to taka a look" and I never heard back from them at all. If they are too busy to take on new work they should just say that up front!
