Their work was consistently late (my kitchen was to have been completed by Thanksgiving of 2010 - the countertops weren't finished being installed until the Spring of 2011). Their subcontractors did shoddy work. For example, I told my husband to get the carpenter sent to install my kitchen cabinets out of my house when I noticed my upper cabinets were running downhill and the cabinets on either side of the stove were at different heights. I hired my own installer, but was never refunded his $1,000.00 retainer (or even a portion thereof). My consultant, who was very nice, eventually quit or retired after which the owner did not seem in the least interested in talking with me. The ONLY GOOD EXPERIENCE that I came away with was the Khardean (sp?) Linoleum Flooring / Bedroom carpet installer. His name was Steve. He was a PRO. I found out when I wished more carpet to be installed, that he no longer worked with INTERIOR IMAGES, for what reason I cannot say. Before washing my hands of these people, another man who worked for INTERIOR IMAGES, who promised to redeem the entire situation, came out, looked at all the mistakes, DAMAGE, and things left unfinished, apologized all over himself, and said he'd be back out next week and by golly, he'd make it right! Never heard from him or the owners again. At least they had the good sense not to send us the final bill - which we estimated to be somewhere around $350.00. This is only a portion of what transpired in our overall experience with this company, but gives you the idea. STAY AWAY is the advice I will always give people who ask.
