About us

I have been servicing the building industry since 1980. I can help with most home improvements. With over 30 years of personal experience of sales and installations of Ceramic Tile and Natural Stone Tile, many other phases of home improvements were either included or supervised by me. My expertise lies in the finished product, yet no finished product can look good for long without all of the sub-structures being constructed properly. I study and follow current building codes that will make the finished product look great and last for many years. With over 30 years experience in home improvements, I can take care of every phase of your project. I know the building business and am good at what I do, where you are good at what you do. I will guide you through the entire home improvement project from drawing up the plans to the final cleaning of the project. If other sub-contractors are needed (major plumbing, major electrical, etc.) I will contact, contract, supervise and be personally responsible for their work on your project. My normal billing procedure is to ask for 1/2 down with any major credit card, check or cash with progress payments until the end of the project. The 1/2 down is to cover materials specifically required for your project and to secure a firm commitment in blocking out the time on my schedule required to get the job done. A majority of my projects involve owners or property management who can not readily visit the property being worked on. To keep people informed and involved. I use the internet to send send proposals, invoices, receive payments, upload CAD drawings and upload progress pictures via email or to a secure website. If there are any questions, concerns or comments about any phase of the project, I try to make it easy to communicate and document my customer's needs. All uploaded photos can have comments on them, and online conversation threads can be created to document everything that is discussed about the project. All of these online interactions are secure and only available to me, my design/quality control staff and you. These interactions can be easily shared by my customer to anyone they wish, anywhere in the world to help guide them through the home improvement process or even boast to the world of the work they are doing to their home. All online sharing permissions are approved by the customer and will not be used by PM Home Improvements for any other reason not previously approved.

I can give guidance in all phases of any building project.

Paul came in after another contractor had backed out on us numerous times. We were starting to think it was never going to be done. We had tried to get numerous others to do the job. Paul came in, was straightforward and quite knowledgeable. We had some vague ideas of what we wanted but he was able to put it into reality. He came everyday on time, if he needed to do something else he would give us a time frame and then be back when promised. I can't say how much we love the design. He took it from an idea to an outstanding reality. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. He was courteous, efficient, and takes pride in his work. There are not many you can say all that about these days. We will have him back to do our others as soon as we are able. What more can I say, he is great! Hire him!
Description of Work: We had a bathroom that was added on to an existing family room. Paul came in to do the tile work after the walls had been put up. He did a pattern on the wall of the shower along with the shower floor. He cut, laid and grouted each tile leaving an exceptional shower.

It took him a lot longer than I think he expected, but finished the job nicely.
Description of Work: He installed bathtub and shower surround, the plumbing and sheetrock and texturing. Also installed a tile mural for me in the kitchen over my stove. He also did all the plumbing and installed all the new shower and tub fixtures. He squeezed me in during his regular appoitments, so it took about a month to complete. Yes, I would definately hire him again, as he seems to know a little bit about everything.

I would highly recommend PM Home Improvements.
Description of Work: PM Home Improvements did the work on my out of state rental house. The work included replacing doors, painting, fascia and soffit repairs. I was impressed with the quality of the repair work. I was updated every step of the way with photos and emails which were extremely helpfull since I couldn't be on site when the work was done. The estimate, invoices and payments were done on the computer so everything was easily handled.
