Brian and Kevin Nelson charged $500.00 for an estimate. Then they estimated the job using high- end subcontractors for the drywall and painting. It was suppose to be a 2 week job consisting of 73 pieces of drywall. What we got in return was a 3 month long messed up job. When it came time to do the job they switched out the high -end sub-contractors with paid employers who did not know what they were doing. It took them 3 times of tearing out the drywall and replacing drywall because they did not shim, or did not know how to hang the drywall and used cheap seam tape which cracked right away. The texture they put on was of poor quality. The paint job consisted of cheap sprayed on paint. They charged $23,916.00 for the drywall job. They paid the drywaller $5,000.00. The valley beam they said needed repair because they said their engineer did the calculations and said it would fail. The odd thing is they had no calculations or bill from Swift Engirneering. They charged $3375.00 to fix the beam which consisted of a 1.5" x 1/4" piece of strap iron lag screwed to the bottom of the beam. Within 6 months the drywall was cracking around the beam . So I hired another engineer to check the beam this time the calculations were done and he said their poor attempt at trying to fix the beam actually weakened it further so now it needs replacing which will cost $50,000.00. You cannot believe a thing the Nelson boys tell you. Instead of making it right and fixing the problem they put bogus liens on the house. Stay away from these clowns, they are nothing more than rip off con artist. Want to see the end results? Come and see their finished work. It is still the same as how they left it.
