 + -1 moreThis company is so great. They were prompt in coming the first time our house flooded & gave us an estimate, then got right to work. They worked so hard to get everything dried out & cleaned up. They were also much less expensive than the estimate given by the first company we called. They even helped my husband search for my cat that went missing in all the confusion. They certainly didn't have to do that. They did a good job too, I couldn't even tell we'd been flooded. We liked & appreciated them so much, we used them again the next time our house flooded approximately 2 weeks after the first time! They had to come in the evening & on a Sunday then, but again, were so prompt. I felt very comfortable having them in our home, & a couple of times, they came & worked while we were away from the house. The second cleanup was much more extensive, but again, we felt like they did a great job & always explained what needed to be done & why. For as hard as everyone worked, I thought what they charged us was quite reasonable. I hope we never need to use them again, but we wouldn't hesitate to call if we were hit with another disaster.
Description of Work: Flood water removal, drying & cleaning of carpets, mold removal, & on second flooding had to remove part of the carpet & wall in addition to the water removal, carpet drying & cleaning.

Description of Work: Sump pump failed. The basement was flooded. Disaster recovery fixed it like it never happened.

The work performed exceeded my expectations. All appointments were kept in a timely manner. The price on the estimate was reasonable and the final billing matched the estimate. The work was done in accordance to the time line discussed during our initial meeting. Having dealt with many trades people over the years that failed to do as contracted, I can?t tell you enough how much I am impressed by a contractor that tells me what they will do, then do it and do it just how and when it is to be done. How refreshing to deal with a real professional. Bravo Disaster Recovery!! I would recommend Disaster Recovery to anyone in my similar predicament.

 + 0 moreOverall, Disaster Recovery was a wonderful company to work with.
Description of Work: During our heavy spring rains, our sump pump's GFI plug tripped off. We woke up to a couple of inches of ground water in our finished basement. We began calling the various companies that could help us and the only one who was available was Disaster Recovery. Derek and Dusty came over within an hour of our calling them. At this point we had the sump pump working again and the standing water was gone, but all of the carpet was soaked as well has the lower part of our sheet rock. They gave us an estimate on what it would cost and looked over our home owner's policy to see if we were covered (we had partial coverage). We hired them to begin. Which they did right away. Throughout the whole process they were very careful and helpful with our belongings in the basement. After they had set up the drying system throughout the whole basement, they would come back about twice a day to take readings to check the humidity levels. They were very professional and worked with us to stay within that original estimate. They left some equipment running over the weekend with no charge ("just to be sure everything is dry"), and they cleaned much of our upstairs carpet for free before they left. Derek and Dusty came into our lives at a very stressful time and reassured us they could make things right and they did exactly that. Thank goodness Disaster Recovery was the only company available when we were calling around for help. It was meant to be!
