They vacuumed the chair. Then the proceeded to add cleaner or detergent on the spot and all around it.  They cleaned it then vacuumed it dry. I t was a moist to the touch., when done.

I researched types of carpet cleaning on the internet and called ChemDry to ask them to explain why their system was better than steam cleaning.  I thought I wanted to try it since I had always used steam cleaning before.  Someone from the company returned my call promptly, explained in detail what they would do, gave me a price idea on the phone based on my tentative measurements (I had not taken measurements before calling, so had to approximate).  We made the appointment for the same week because I was in a hurry.  They called the day before the appointment to reconfirm it and arrived according to schedule to do the work.  I needed help moving a few items from one of the rooms and the technician kindly helped me.
