 + -1 moreHot solder drips in carpet and bedspread were unacceptable.
Description of Work: We had a plumbing leak in walls and ceiling. Decided to have the copper replaced with plastic. A friend recommended Walter's and they were prompt, courteous and price was good. However, they had to do some ceiling work. I assumed they would know what kind of protection to use for hot solder. Instead, when I came home, I had half a dozen hot solder drips in my carpet and bedspread. The work has held and been fine in plumbing terms, but I would never use them again.

 + -1 moreI received an estimate on Thursday, 9/18/2008, and the work was scheduled for one week later on Thursday, 9/25/2008. The appointment was for 10:00 a.m. and they called at 10:20 a.m. saying they were running late from a previous appointment. I appreciated the heads-up. Two plumbers arrived at 11:09 a.m. They replaced both sillcocks and replaced the broken joint in the drain pipe and finished by 12:12 p.m. Both young plumbers were amiable and the work was done quickly and professionally.
Description of Work: Replace two frost-proof sillcocks (outside water faucets for hoses) and repair cracked PVC (plastic) drain pipe joint from kitchen sink.
