Contact them in late July to order door glass. Did not hear from them for weeks. Called to ask status and was treated like they didn't even know what was going on. Left 4 messages and received no returned phone calls or status of order. Finally, in late August (on or about the 28th), had to physically go to their office and ask about the door glass. Scheduled appointment for door glass to be installed on 8/30 at 3:30 pm. They forgot we were on the schedule, they were out of town installing elsewhere and did not call to inform us they would be late (had 3 phone numbers to contact us). When we called them, they showed up 15 minutes later - 2 hours beyond our appointment time and had only one person to remove and install the door glass. The individual there did not know how to caulk a commercial door and left a MESS on the new glass. Said he would send some one the next day to finish the caulking. Did not happen. They finally finished at nearly 6:30 PM installing the glass and did not even clean it when they were finished. There were hand prints, finger prints, and an overall disgusting look (worse than the old glass) when they walked away. THEN, to top it off - I received a bill the very next day with a net 5 payment term. Very unprofessional and less than poor service.

I had made arrangements with the husband on this. He knew we were busy and asked if we could get to it as soon as we could. I was not contacted by phone only by the husband when he came into my shop. I do agree that we were late for the appointment and I apologized to the husband when he came in. I pulled a guy off a contract job to get this door glass done for him. We did finish late due to the glass in the door did not come out as easy as expected. Older door systems are unpredictable. Having a customer sitting behind you watching you makes the job harder. Especially when you can feel she is upset. After the glass was installed we told her that we would have a other employee down tomorrow to do a nice bead of caulking. Sent the other employee down that next day. If this customer was not happy with what work was done why would it have hurt to call my shop and let me know? I would have immediately sent someone down to fix what she wasn't happy with or I would have personally came down. And as far as the invoice stating net 5? I don't have that programmed in my quickbooks. There was no prior arrangments made for a net 30 on this account.
