Went to the Quick Start office. There were a few other people ahead of me but the surroundings in the waiting room were pleasant enough and the wait wasn't that long.

The duration of the repair time time was excessive. Parts took a little longer that anticipated and the fit wasn't perfect so it took another week to get it perfect. I would however, take the time to make it right. They felt so bad about the time it was taking they loaned me a rental car at no charge. The service manage, Robbie, even drove the car out to my work as I was unable to take time off to come pick it up. Now thats service. The seems to drive like new. I am still paying attention to all the little things just to make sure as they said they guarantee their work for the life of the car with me as owner.

I felt that Spradley Barr Ford Motors Cheyenne was honest about the work that was needed, the price was competitive, and the service was good. I didn't have to make an appointment to drop my car off. They gave me a ride home, did the work, and came to pick me up. I was pleased with the service. They took the time to explain the work that I needed done, they prioritized the things that needed to be done depending on what I could afford which I appreciated, the shuttle service was quick and efficient, and my experience was positive. I would recommend Spradley Barr Ford Motors Cheyenne.

I took my car to Spradley Barr Ford because it randomly wouldn’t start. It would turn over (crank) fine but would not fire (start). This would happen intermittently; about every tenth time I would try to start it. They called back and said that the problem was the battery and that it should be replaced. Since the battery was about five years old, I thought that that was reasonable but questioned why the engine would crank so well but not fire. They assured me that it was the battery and also talked me into a “comprehensive multi-point inspection” that they said was computer controlled and would take an hour to thoroughly diagnose all the car’s components. They said the tests showed no problems with the car’s systems. The total bill came to over $300. I again asked them several times if the new battery would solve the problem because I thought it strange that the engine cranked so well but wouldn’t fire and they assured me that the new battery solved the problem. Shortly thereafter the problem reoccurred; strong crank but no start. After some research on the internet I determined that the fuel pump was probably failing. I called Spradley to inquire how much it would cost to replace and was quoted $850 plus tax. I called around town and found an Angie’s List highly rated automobile repair shop that quoted me the repair for half the price. It seems to me that Spradley Barr Ford is just interested in squeezing out as much money as they can from their customers. Quick fix and up-sell is their goal. For a company that presumably repairs a lot of cars you would think they would recognize the symptoms of a failing fuel pump, especially after I repeatedly told them over and over. I will not be going back to them.

I test-drove an almost-new pickup and instantly fell in love. This truck was flawless, even though it was slightly used (a 1-year-old lease trade-in). I told the sales person that I would buy it for the sticker price of $36,000 and came back 2 days later to close the deal. This time, the truck had a large dent in the tailgate. The salesperson acknowledged that it hadn't been there before, but assured me that they would take care of me. So the paperwork was signed and an appointment was scheduled to repair the damage. After the repairs were made, I was billed for the service. I protested and was told by the sales man that they were only charging me half what they would have charged anyone else. Then he started feeding me a line about how hard they had to work to get me a loan and how much money they had to take off the price to get me payments I could afford (remember that I said I paid sticker price?) I was furious!!! I paid the bill and after cooling off (a few months later), I called the management and complained. I was treated with disregard by the management and have never returned. I'm ready to purchase a new truck, as mine is 10 years old now, but I will NOT be shopping with Spradley!

I took my Toyota Tacoma to the local Toyota dealer in Cheyenne, Wyoming to have an abnormal noise checked out. The noise was a high-pitched squeeking/chirping noise that seemed to be originating from an external source somewhere under the middle-to-rear portion of the vehicle. I only noticed the noise present when I was decelerating with the vehicle in either first or second gear (standard/stick shift). I explained the circumstances in which the noise occurred to the service representative. I received a call from the service representative explaining to me that components related to my clutch pedal were causing the noise I had described. I questioned the possibility of an internal part causing an external problem/noise, but he assured me that the internal clutch components were discovered in need of repair by the service technician. I expressed my doubt to the service representative stating that it didn't sound correct that the clutch pedal components could be the cause of the external noise. He stated that the components indeed needed to be replaced and parts ordered; because it needed to be replaced, I authorized the work. I went to pick up my vehicle while the parts were awaiting delivery and immediately noticed the squeeking/chirping noise as I started to drive off the lot. I turned around and went back to the service department and my truck was making the noise as I rolled to a stop at the garage entrance. I walked up to the service representative and asked him if he heard the noise, to which he replied that he in fact did hear it. He again assured me that the service technician stated the cause of the noise was the clutch pedal components and that it should cease when the ordered parts were installed. I dropped my vehicle off on Friday morning, 7 Aug 09 to be fixed. I called later that afternoon to speak with the service representative to ensure that the squeeking/chirping noise while decelerating in first or second gear would be fixed by the work/components proposed, and he again assured me that it would be fixed. I picked up my vehicle on Saturday, 8 Aug 09. As I drove off of the lot, sure enough, the squeeking/chirping noise was still there, completely unchanged. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the resolution of the originally stated issue that drove me to take my vehicle to the Toyota dealer for service in the first place. Original problem - unchanged/not fixed. Small/unrelated problem - fixed, but at a rather expensive price of $383 (actually $382 and some change). The service representative was courteous and friendly throughout the experience, but didn't seem to understand the issue in the end; even after indepth expanation of the details, multiple times. Due to this experience and spending nearly $400 on an unrelated problem, I will likely never take my vehicle to the Spradley Motors Toyota dealership for service again. I have neither the time nor the money to spend in this manner.
