 + -1 moreSpa Duck's owner, Shane, is wonderful to work with. He ordered the necessary parts and completed the service promptly. The work was completed as quoted, and based upon previous experiences I found the prices to be fair and the work to be exemplary. Shane was also responsive to my calls with questions about how to run the spa and balance chemicals in the weeks following the repair. My spa has been running very well for 5 months now. I would absolutely call Spa Duck again for repairs or maintenance needs.
Description of Work: He came to my residence for an estimate as I needed to get my spa running again (it had been turned off for a few years, and I needed to order a new cover. He inspected my equipment and gave me an estimate. He was very clear in explaining some other issues that could come up once we got the spa running again and he did a thorough job of inspecting everything to cover all bases up front.

 + -1 moreperfect. He inspected my spa and had to order a new motor/pump. He weatherized my spa--very cold here. he came back in 3 weeks and took a postdated check for all of his srevices and parts. Noone else in this area does that. he also taught me hints that will maybe help me to maintain my spa without his help.
Description of Work: THis guy is awesome. Last year he gave me advice on the phone. The local store only offered a repairman at $85.00/hr.. He was very professional and informativel He knows his stuff. I was impressed and he was very good at giving me tips and advice that may prevent me from calling him in the future. many repairmen don't do that.

Description of Work: We bought a refurbished spa from the owner of Spa Duck, Shane Burdick. Originally it wouldn't fit into our basement because of a half wall at the top or our stairs. Shane gave us time to knock out the wall and hired extra help to get the spa into our basement. We had some difficulty getting it set up initially and didn't fully understand how it worked. Shane came back to our house on several occasions to check the tub and teach us how to maintain it.
