Description of Work: My leaky roof was ruining my 1 year old walls in her room and I was scared being in their because it was dripping in and on to the light switch and outlets. In my desperation I called and spoke to rich. He said he would come the next day and I gave him my address. He never showed and wouldn't answer my calls

 + 0 moreThe realtor arranged for Richard Birdsley/ Professionals On Call to provide us the buyer with a roofing inspection. The roofing inspection came back that the roof was approximately 3 years old and that the roof met all City Codes and he certified that it passes inspection. Utilizing this inspection we did not ask for any roof repairs or replacement to be done before purchasing the home. After purchasing we have discovered several roofing issues concerning venting and flashing, leaking, roof slope issues, soffit and rain gutter issues, and worst of all improper roofing structure. We discovered that when an addition of a family room was added behind the attached garage that the contractor laid the new rafters over the existing roof structure, so we have a roof over a roof. After our discovery of all the roofing issues I contacted the Realtor and he told me to contact Richard directly and when I contacted Richard and he said he was never paid for the roofing inspection. (The Realtor told us he paid the inspector) and that he was not inspecting for us the buyer but for the seller and so he was not responsible for any issues concerning the roof
