ON THE SPOT GLASS

OTPG replaced my vehicle windshield. Upon completion I was not given complete instructions on what to do. They told me to wait 48 hours and no car washes. They did not tell me about the clear tape they put on the windshield and what to do about it. When I went out to my vehicle and was looking at it. I found where they had loosened a piece of trim and got glue on it. I went back inside and asked them to come out and fix it. The gentleman I had been working with yelled at me and stated He told me not to touch anything. I asked him to come out and fix the loose piece. Him and three of his co workers came out to my vehicle and tried to look at it. The man was so big he could not fit in my vehicle and swears he could not see what I was talking about. At this point he started screaming at me in front of his coworkers about how they did not touch that part of my vehicle and he had told me not to touch anything for 48 hours. I had to ask him three times to get out of my vehicle and let me go on my way. He was still screaming at me when I finally got into my vehicle. At that point I called my insurance company and they were going to call him and have him fix the trim piece. On 18 April I called the insurance company back and was told that OTPG was suppose to have contacted me for an appointment to repair the trim. I never heard from OTSG and the insurance company sent me to Safelite glass company and they fixed it without any heartburn. I will never go back to OTSG or recommend them to anyone.

I have no complaints with the quality of the work. I think they must have underbid on the job, as the repairman and his team said there was another 1/2 day of work for completion, and they never came back. My calls were never returned by the owner or any of his staff, my house was left a mess with broken glass and old window frames all over, inside AND outside, cigarette butts left all over. Window trim on the outside was left hanging in place. Had they told me the job was running over the estimate, I would have gladly paid more, but no communication at all. They may do good work, but know nothing about running a business, or professionalism.
