I took a bent frame in on 5 aug 14. I told them I needed it repaired and that I was leaving town to return to Florida on the following Fri and needed it NLT 14 Aug. On 6 Aug I returned with another screen that needed the screen replaced and once again told them when it was needed by. They responded no problem. My wife stopped by on 12 Aug to see if the screens were done. The woman behind the counter asked" Were you called and told they were finished?" The wife replied no and reiterated that we were leaving for home on Fri. morning and needed them NLT Thursday. Again she was told no problem that they would call when the work was done. Thurs morning no call and I went to the business right after lunch. Surprise my screen was not built because they didn't have the materials but would have them within 2 weeks. I was not happy after being reassured at least 3 times the screen would be ready. I told the lady about my leaving for home the next day and her response was " we can install it for you after we make it. I stated " What makes you think I would trust you to finish the job?" . The lady excused herself and came back with the owner who proceeded to ask me why I was giving his wife a hard time. I had never swore at her or made threats but did let it be known by my tone that I was extremely displeased with the business. I informed the owner as such and didn't even receive an apology for the inconvenience or the inability to tell a customer the work could not be performed. I had previously heard that these folks did good and honest work however my experience was such that I would advise no one to seek their services. As a owner/boss I would be extremely ashamed to admit my employees were incapable of completing a job simply because no one had checked to see if the materials were on hand had they been up front with me I would have driven to Ft Collins and had the work done. As the result of their ineptness I had to place the house on the market missing the bedroom window screen.
Description of Work: Rescreened 1 window and was supposed to fabricate another screen.

AFter measuring 3x the wrong size windows were ordered. We did get them installed and were going to frame the sills ourselves and then we find out they installed the WRONG UV windows. After several phone calls and emails they would not return phone calls even when BBB got involved.

Description of Work: This company was awarded the bid for new windows in a school. The teachers were told they would start June 1, right after school got out for the summer. The teachers were told to have their classrooms packed up by around June 4; the teachers complied. The glass company did not begin work in the school until after July 5 and then at a very slow rate. They gave a completion date of Aug. 15; that date has passed. To date, they have not completed putting in all the windows and the windows have not been caulked. A company employee told a teacher that caulking would be done by Aug. 25, the day students arrive. The windows that can be opened will not be installed until Sept. 9. In addition to the inconvenience of not being completed, there is glass all over the building, in classrooms and throughout the hallways, posing a grave danger to teachers and especially to the students who will soon arrive. Workers used hammers to break the glass of the old windows, not using tarps to catch broken glass, just apparently hoping it would all land in barrels they had placed below the breaking windows. However, all the glass did not land in the barrel;, it is on shelving and in the carpets in the flooring in the school.
