CARPET WORKS

They gave us an estimate for the installation of custom slate tile for the room, but they overmeasured and overcharged us. Our neighbor saw them take away half the tile that was ours. They were not honest with us. Also we had to go back over the tile and reseal it ourselves.

The work was not satisfactory. I was not happy with the service, they were very sloppy and they left glue on floor and walls. I will never use them again.

Carpet works was a no show the first 2 days of the job. They said one of the installers quit. They finally showed up and ran out of materials. Then the materials were on back order, Next the installer just disappeared. After 7 no shows in a row someone showed up for 2 hours on day #8. That installer had no cell phone and had to borrow ours and his truck broke down in our driveway. We actually let him use our vehicle just to try to finnish the job! When he finnished, the grout did not even go to the base boards, the carpet wasn't tacked down at the seams, glue was on the walls and my existing carpets! After yet another no show the owner of the store told me it was my fault! I can't believe a business man would say that to a customer! a two day job hsa been going on for3 months! I am tired of excuses and just want the grout done! Litltle flaws that I would have let slide in april have become big problems! I will never recommend carpet works and I will never use them again! i had several vendors at my house for this remodel and carpet works was the only one that didn't deliver! Very poor service-huge communication problem! The owner was baasically hostile toward me when I fianlly got angry after 3 months of excuses, all I can say is WOW!
