John Gariety Handyman

He hired a company to replace the whole heating system and they did a terrible job. He didn't contact me to have the heating system replaced and I'd had it checked out just before that and it was determined then that it was in good shape. That cost around $4800 for the heating system. The work that he was supposed to do, after seven months I hired another guy to look at it because I had to get the house on the market. The other handyman looked at it and said what a sloppy job Gariety did. Gariety said he would beat this other handyman up. That's how it is. I think Gariety was doing drugs. I went to the house and he was never never there. I checked his tool box once and there wasn't a single tool in it, but it was full of drugs. I took pictures of the drugs and took some of the drugs and took him to court, but the judge ruled in his favor and said I'd owed him another $5000. He ought to be in jail instead of other people hiring him to do work. I had to pay another $2800 to another handyman to fix or finish the job that Gariety was supposed to do. My son went over there to the house and his words were, "Oh my god." He did probably $10,000 worth of work that Gariety was supposed to do, but Gariety never paid him for. I probably did $1000 worth of work myself.
