 + -1 moreDid not fix the problem. Was told that I needed a replacement unit. Got a second source and they fixed the problem by adding some Freon and was only charged for a service call.

 + -1 moreThey were very prompt and on time and very efficient with their work. I like how they wore protective covers over their shoes so that they did not track anything into our house. They were very clean and pleasant to work with.
Description of Work: We had Emerald Tower's 24 Hour Heating come out and put in a new furnace.

Description of Work: Being to coldest day of the year so far, when I got to my business in Glenrock, Wy I noticed that my boiler was not working. I called Emerald Tower and got a quick call back by Jim Tucker. Jim said he would drive the 25 miles to my location and have a look. He was here within the hour and found that the boiler had a leak which in turn put out the pilot light. I don't know much about these things but something about a pop-off valve and plumbing comes to mind. He worked on the boiler for about an hour then waited for about another 30 mins to make sure all was well. Very professional. This is not the first dealings that I have had with Emerald Tower. When I purchased my business in Oct of 2010, the first day of owning my business the boiler was Red Tagged. I called Emerald Tower and Jim came down the next day (which was a Saturday). It turns out that all of the venting in my building needed to be replaced. Jim and his wife gathered up all the parts needed and returned the next day (Sunday) and did the work required to get my heat turned on. At all times Jim and his employees have always been very professional and curtious. I would never use anyone but Emerald Tower for any heating and cooling work that I need. Home or office. The above mentioned price is what I paid for BOTH visits.....

 + -1 moreThey are always very accomodating, professional, and friendly. I can depend on them to be prompt and always call before they ring the doorbell so I know they are on the way. They put on shoe protectors at the front door. When they are funished they turn off lights and close doors so everything is just as they found it. I have never had them tell me I needed something that I did not really need. I have complete faith in Emeral Tower and their employees!
Description of Work: I had purchased a Seize the Deal $37 voucher for a furnace tune-up. I knew that I needed a new filter for my Humid-A-Mist and that was $55 (installed). Emerald Tower installed my furnace and AC in December 2007 and they are always very courteous and professional. They continue to get the highest marks every time they come out for my annual tune-ups.

 + -1 moreHe did not do the work as my son wanted. He explained why it would not work and helped him come up with an alternative solution.
Description of Work: I called this company for my son who had some duct work problems. The owner came out and went thru everything and told him it would be to expensive to fixed and then helped him work out another solution. Very nice and very professional.

 + 0 morethe break that my son got was $15.00 over the $74.00 tune up charge-i called the next day and mentioned that my son was over charged--"ARE YOU STUPID" was his answer-i said that i'm talking about your ad that read $74.00 on line and in the paper-did you give his worker the ad-i said no why-he carried on -i thought jim must be on drugs or drunk-i was told that he was short handed and i can understand why he cannot keep -he said if i don't like it that he was right here come and see him----i've got news for you folks --if his company was the last in the state---------------NEVER--NEVER AGAIN-i will call someone from another state-i'll pay the difference in price and have someone who wears bootcovers when coming into my home-and don't have to deal with what ever his company has to offer-my suggestion is folks--STAY AWAY FROM PEOPLE LIKE THAT-it happens when you loose track of why your in business--- i my book he is a liar-phony-and a LOUD MOUTH BULLY-no wonder he cannot keep help.he can sure come to my home and confront me on this-i'll call him on it-that is the truth so help me GOD-maybe he is on meth?beats me-he should not yell at me or threaten me because he owns a company-i'm not one of his employees-or his wife---i asked a simple question-and he cheated us on that ad--thanks for letting me tell our story about people like that.
Description of Work: the company said it would be between one and five so we stayed home waitingfour minutes to five the man shows up and says the company was short handed-the guy was on the phone and still talking when my son wanted to show the way in the back door-no shoe covers-you don't come in my house without taking your shoes off-OK!-my son showed the man in the back door where the unit is no problem-my son helped out with the cleaning-the man said that since you helped me i'll give you a break
