Chuck was the service tech who came. He is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I appreciate that he took my concerns under consideration when making his recommendations as to how to treat our situation. He knew we have small children and made sure I felt comfortable. When he recommended spraying inside the kitchen cabinets and I didn't feel okay about it Chuck did not pressure me into doing it. He let me know what to do and what to check for in the cabinets and to let him know if I found something and would want to have it done at a later time. We have had no insect issues since Chuck sprayed inside and outside our home. I would highly recommend the company and its services.

Have a small occasional rat problem that we can't seem to figure out and couldn't seem to catch the latest visitor. Tri-State was prompt and extremely professional and honest. They made sure to answer any questions we had completely. Will surely call them again if we need them. They walked the entire house looking for places where the rat could be coming from or travelling and suggested the best places to put baits and/or traps, taking into consideration our concerns about baits being potentially eaten by the dog.

If you are looking for an exterminator, I would highly recommend Tri State Exterminating. I called them at 8:30 in the morning and by 2:00 that afternoon, my problem was resolved. I discovered a nest of yellow jackets in the wall of my home under a shingle outside. They were also finding a way to the inside of my home from there. From the receptionist who was efficient and funny, to the polite knowledgeable tech who bravely eliminated the bees, I was treated like a respected and valued customer. I especially appreciated the promptness in which they handled my problem. I thought the price was fair, also. I will definitely call them again should I have any more problems with pests.

I noticed termites near my home. I contacted A-1 and they sent someone out the next day. The tech thoroughly went over the interior and exterior of my home and showed me everything. He explained many options and we went with the termite stations. These were installed around the outside of my home, however he did not put any bait stations in my home. Two days ago I was moving a box in my basement and found literally millions of termites that had come up through the concrete basement floor. They destroyed alot of property. I called them back and a tech was out the next day. He installed two bait stations. They are poisonous to my animals. He said that the original tech should have put stations inside the house and that he will be back in a week.

Tri State came to give us an estimate and was able to complete the work on the spot. The technician checked the nest, as well as the area inside the house to make sure he wouldn't be forcing the hornets inside. Prices were much better than Orkin and other big name exterminators.
