Description of Work: checked for termites once a year and did pest control 4 times a year pest control did not work

Description of Work: At first I hired them because I had termites. They took care of that and then I had them come out regularly for pest control and termite protection for about 20 years after that.

Description of Work: We hired Terminix for Insulation to be blown in to our attic. They showed up when we weren't even ready for them, and had told them we were not ready for the insulation as we had some electrical work being done in our attic. They asked if they could start installing the ventilation baffles in the attic. We allowed them to start installing the baffles with the understanding that it would still be days and maybe longer until we were ready for the insulation. They started the job. My husband came home to check on their progress. He went up in to the attic, and found that they were not properly doing what we were told would be done. When my husband questioned the materials being used, and asked why they were not using to proper materials, the reply was that he didn't know what my husband was talking about. My husband came down, got the booklet that was given to us by the Terminix salesman that showed the proper supplies being installed in an attic through a color photo in the booklet. Upon being shown the picture in his companies informational booklet, the technician stated that he had never seen those supplies before. He was then instructed not to use the supplies that he was wrapping the can lighting with, to wait and bring back the correct supplies. He continued on with the other part of the job, and about an hour later he fell through the ceiling causing extensive damage to our home. Needless to say, we fired Terminix for our insulation needs. The next day I tried calling the Territory Manager with no luck. I was told by a customer service rep on the phone that their computers were down and she could not put me in touch with anyone in authority, that she would have to take down my information and have someone get back with me. We are still dealing with this company to get our repairs paid for, and getting the contract terminated. Do not use this company!!! The local branch here in Wheeling are crooked and do underhanded business.
