carpet installation
+ -1 moreInitial installation went well. Less than a year later, however, the vinyl pieces in the small hallway started to come up at the seams. They were resealed after about a month of waiting. Now, unfortunately, the seams are coming up again and a piece of the transition strip shrunk in size and has exposed the snap-in track 1/4 inch on both ends in the dining area. I contacted the provider to get the brand name and color information for the transition strip. It's been four weeks and four calls later and I even sent pictures of the areas that need attention. I have found another contractor to do the work but I'm still waiting for the requested information. 10/11/2014 UPDATE: I've yet to hear from Jamison. I would imagine they would NOT want to be treated as they have treated me. I DO NOT recommend dealing with Jamison.
Description of Work: Installed Berber carpet in 3 bedrooms, dining room, family room and living room. Installed snap-in rubber track transition strips in all carpet-to-vinyl areas. Also installed my leftover vinyl pieces from an earlier install (another contractor) in a small hallway.

Description of Work: I took them almost six weeks, after the contract was signed, to acquire the flooring and to make an appointment to install it. Installation took about a day and a half, and this was well done by what appeared to be very competent people.

+ -1 moreSales person was excellent, very helpful. Installers moved furniture and installed carpet in about three hours - great job. They arrived on time and cleaned up everything. I am very pleased with my experience at Jamison Carpet and would buy from them again.
