Robinson and Son Construction

If you want the job done well and in a timely manner Robinson Construction is the one for you. Angelika handles the office and is extremely professional, efficient and friendly. The owner is hands on, each job is done by professionals and inspected by Mr Robinson personally. He wants to make sure the job is done as if he himself had completed it.

I'm so impressed with Robinson and Son construction. From the first visit to determine repairs, thru to job completion, there was no surprises. Brad and the crew exceeded all exceptions. Their quality of work is top notch. Whenever I had question, Brad or the crew would explain what they were doing and why they were doing it (and there wasn't many question because all was explained up front before the job was started.) There was NO hidden surprises ever. The crew always kept the job-site neat and clean. The quality and pride of workmanship the crew provided was amazing. Being new to the area, its not easy to choose a contractor. But choosing Robinson and son Construction, was the best decision I have ever made. And yes all my future repairs, I will be choosing Robinson and son Construction. And as for price, this company is not the cheapest, but you always get what you pay for. The quality of work and materials used will by far offset the up-front cost.

In January we had a chimney break that brought soot into the house. To locate the problem in January the fire department and an electrician had to cut into the drywall in a couple of different places. Then the contractor who did the repairs to the chimney cut a large square hole into the ceiling to make the needed repairs to the chimney. The original contractor would not return my phone calls about repairing the holes in the drywall so I contacted Robinson and Son Construction in Weirton.

They promptly called me back, came to give the estimate and scheduled the repairs in a timely manner. In the meantime we had some electrical problems in our living room. Some of the outlets went out. When they came to do the drywall repairs I mentioned the electrical problems and the supervisor told me they could do that work also while they were here if I wanted them to. They replaced some breakers, ran some new wiring, and replaced some outlets. I am glad I mentioned the electrical problems and glad they could do that work also as it was a matter of safety. They did both jobs in two days. They were neat, professional, and efficient.

This was the largest remodeling job we ever undertook. We learned of Robinson and Son Construction by reviewing Angie's List and when we initiated contact, the owner, Elisha Robinson, came out the same day to discuss our job. After listening to our ideas and determining what we were trying to accomplish, Mr. Robinson recommended the location and size of an addition that would meet our needs. He also promised that once started, his crew would stay on our job until it was completed. We found Mr. Robinson to be very experienced, knowledgeable and honest.

True to his word, his crew started the job when promised and worked here for about two months, until everything was completed. We can not say enough about his crew. They were hard workers, who were on time everyday and were very professional. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work. If we had any questions or concerns the crew members were always willing to listen and provide an explanation, if possible. If the question pertained to something in the design, Mr. Robinson was always responsive. Our entire experience with this company was very positive. We would not hesitate to use them in the future and highly recommend them.

Robinson and Son have been nothing short of perfect. I can't begin to tell you how pleased we were with everything from start to finish. Brad Evans is so very well organized, polite, and professional.

Called them the day after Thanksgiving and expected to wait awhile for a quote, but I had it the same day. I told them to complete the work, but did not hear anything for a long while so called them after Christmas. They told me that they didn't have it down that I wanted the work performed. Not a big deal - I wasn't in a rush. I scheduled the work with them for New Year's Eve or Day (whenever they could come). We got a big snowstorm so they didn't come. I wasn't expecting them, but they never called to reschedule.

After about a week I was thinking that I should call them, but when I got home I found the work had been completed while I was out. They did a nice job and in addition to the gutter repair they also cleaned up the side of the house where the dirty water had been leaking, which I think went above and beyond what they were asked to do. The communication wasn't great, but I had let them know the job wasn't a rush at all. Since this was a small job I didn't really expect them to be calling me with updates every day. I think they just fit me in when they could and weren't exactly sure when that could be. I'm happy with the end result and every time I did talk to someone they were very polite. I would use them again and would recommend them.

When it rained, it rained both outside and inside my home. When I called for an estimate Brad was very polite and gave me a date and time for an estimate. He was on time and actually talked me out of a project that I had in mind that would have been very expensive but not practical for my home. I was very comfortable talking with him and he never seemed to be in a rush. While I was waiting for my work date there was a big storm and the water leaking into my home was outrageous! I called and while the job could not be moved up, Brad pulled men from another job to patch my roof. They did an excellent job. I can't say enough about my experience with this company. I love the way my home looks, and that it no longer rains inside. I suggest that if you have building needs, you give them a call.

They are honest and reliable. They do good work and clean up well. They are good overall.
