As much as I like the owner, things did not go well at all. He showed up with his son and another worker. They got right to work, as expected. Before they got there, I organized my medicine cabinet in the master bathroom and took a full inventory. I and quot;thoughtand quot; but wasn't sure the last time they were here, someone took some of my medication. So I prepared. About an hour into work, I was told I needed to make a run to Lowes to purchase some squares of drywall to patch some holes they found and other material needed to do the job. When I got back, the owner wasn't there. I immediately went to the master bathroom and checked the medicine cabinet. One of them took a whole bottle of pain medication. The whole bottle! I waited for the owner to return, pulled him to the side and informed him. He asked me if I was sure. Of course I'm sure. I took an inventory. He said he would take care of it. Keep in mind they were bundled up because it was very cold outside. I believe it was in the low 30s. Needless to say, nothing was taken care of. He never addressed them directly. I was upset. He said he went through their lunch pales and found nothing and that was it. Now at the beginning of this job, I put the paint for each room by the room's door. Some how, they managed to get it mixed up. I don't know how. Since the bedroom is at one end of the hallway and the guest bathroom down at the other end. So they painted the borders of the bedroom with the bathroom's color. Luckily, there was still enough to do the bathroom. On the second day, the owner only showed up with his son to finish the bathroom. The floor looked good, but the walls were another story. They looked very . . . spongy. I guess a better description would be wet paper rubbed a lot. They were trying to smooth it out and said it would be fixed. At the end of the day, when they said the job was done, I went in to look and it looked good, even though there was some plaster on the sink and the toilet seat lid was filthy from them standing on it. I was told it would be cleaned up. Not so much. When I went in after they left, I found that the sink had big chunks of acrilic missing behind the faucet and on the side and I would need to replace the toilet seat. It was broken and I couldn't get the black marks off. I looked at the wall they were having problems with and it looked fine. I looked at another wall and it looked like they painted over fabric. It was lumpy. I was just so very disappointed by what happened. I won't be using them again. If you use them, lock up your medication.
Description of Work: They were hired to paint a bedroom and do a light remodel on the guest bathroom that included removing wallpaper, taking out carpet, patching holes in the wall, painting, installing vinyl flooring and mounting two (2) cabinets. They were paid $355.00 for labor. I purchased all materials.

Construction by RQ LLC was awesome. They were scheduled to install 8 windows and refit my sliding glass door when Hurricane Sandy hit. Even though they had no power or water, they found a way to contact me and reschedule 4 days later. Not only were they prompt, but they were professional, did an exemplary job and quickly. A 3 to 4 day job only took 2. They also made a point to clean up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.
