Faster than I thought possible, and the new toilet works perfectly. Pricing was very reasonable. I recommend their work and have multiple other projects I will be hiring him for.

He arrived within the time frame he indicated he was available to start the work. James was pleasant and professional. He explained exactly what needs to be done, not extras. He worked efficiently, communicated effectively, and quickly assessed plumbing problems. At my request he checked areas of concern that were not related to plumbing. He was receptive to varied questions about other projects. He proposed suggestions based on actively listening to what I envisioned for future repairs and remodeling. James appeared nonplussed with all my questions. James's hourly rate is affordable. He explained exactly what needed to be done, not extras, and respected my budget. As an older, single woman, I felt comfortable with James in my home. I did not feel taken advantage of for lacking the knowledge, experience and skills necessary to fix plumbing issues. Jim messaged me before he arrived. He was congenial and professional. The work required more parts than I had bought. So he got the correct parts. I was very pleased with his work, his price, and his demeanor. I will hire him again.

They were called for a free estimate as stated on the research I found! James was polite enough, but was very high energy when arriving? He looked underneath my sink and down the washing machine drain, went out side and looked at drain clean out. Hooked hose of washing machine down drain and found out just where everything was draining! He estimated the work to be 1500 to 2000, was at the house a minimum of an hour, his tire was flat and my grandson plugged it for him, he came on the porch and said todays total was 251. And some change, a bit shocked he told me if I paid cash he would reduce the amount I did pay cash and it was 250. He also told me he charges from the time he leaves the house again another shocker. Just received an estimate from him that was 1600 and some change and another invoice stating I owed more to him from the free estimate!

Quick response and even with several issues to deal with. He worked quickly to resolve and repair the leaking toilet. I would definitely recommend and will call L & S again.

Bathroom was seriously outdated, by about 50 years, in a 90-year old house. Project included new fixtures, tiling, and plumbing and heating repairs. Came out great. There were numerous other fixes and repairs needed in the rest of house--electrical, plumbing, heating, appliance installation, which were often difficult because of retrofitting an old house, tight spaces, and hodge podge of modifications over the years. Contractor did great work and was a good trouble shooter and problem solver for an older and challenging house. Willing to work with me so I purchase materials when I preferred to do that. Showed up on time, worked hard, did more than expected, and got the job(s) done!
