Dunbar Transfer

Description of Work: Rather than a 30 payment due policy, they have a 10 day due date. Because I work for a church, responsible for payment, that turnaround time was difficult to meet. The payment was sent, but in the meantime I was harassed by phone calls and police action (which would never happen but enough to scare me to make the payment out of my own pocket.) Ten minutes later I received a call that they had not checked their mail...they had the check from the church after all. Which meant I had to re-give my credit card info to be refunded. I didn't even get an apology or 'sorry about that.' No future recommendations from me to my clergy colleagues or West Virginia congregations.

Description of Work: I consistently use Dunbar Transfer for moves, whether residential or commercial. The team is always on time and works until the job is finished. They take special care in loading, unloading and placing furniture. I recommend them without reservation.

Description of Work: Had three floors of heavy furniture to move. Crew consisted of four men, who worked very hard and got the job done within reasonable time.

Description of Work: The guys @ Dunbar Transfer ere great moving me into my new home. They arrived right on time and didn't stop except for taking just a half-hour break for lunch. They were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They packed the trucks so that nothing moved and there was no damage to anything of mine. I would definitely recommend Dunbar Transfer for moving to anyone!

Description of Work: They did an excellent job. The only thing broken was a couple of plants. My mother was the one using them. She understood the hourly cost but thought it was going to be cheaper. They had estimated around $500 for the amount of furniture she was moving.

Description of Work: They were fast and efficient but a couple of things were broken. I'll take responsibility for one because as we were just moving my Mother across town, we didn't pack things as if we were going cross country. On another, it was rough handling and carelessness on their part. Generally they're a good bunch and I would use them again, just keep an eye on how they're handling things.

Description of Work: They moved a piano. They were very friendly, professional, and knew what they were doing. No problems occurred.
