House wash: We wash your home with a softwash method. It does not fade siding, tear the seals on Windows for water to go in between the pains so that they can't be cleaned ,damage siding or push mold into the siding cracks that will grow back quickly for the house to have to be washed much sooner than it should have to be. Always make sure someone has insurance and experience. We Do! Window cleaning: When we clean the windows at your home. We always wipe window seals, clean all trim around the windows, clean the edges and polish to hey beautiful shine. All of these things should never be extra charges they are a part of a window cleaners job. Gutter cleaning and whitening: We do not leave a mess when we clean gutters. Everything goes with us. We remove all debris from your property free of charge after cleaning your gutters. We use a vacuum system that is safe and effective in cleaning the gutters. This process is better than having leaves and debris blown out all over your house with blowers or power washers. Then to whiten the gutters we use a process that removes the stains and crime that most cannot remove. Roof Cleaning: we use a soft wash process that does not damage your shingles and kills all organic growth including molds, algae, lichen removing all black streaks in the process. A few more jobs we can do for you: Power wash driveways, ceramic tile and grout on floors and walls. We are family owned business with over 29 years of experience. We have also been cleaning carpets for over 10 years including commercial and residential.

"TODD'S CREW DID AN EXCELLENT JOB CLEANING OUR GUTTERS. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CLEANED EVERYTHING UP, AS WE HAD NO CLEAN UP. I WILL DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN."

Owner operated. No subs. Cost is determined by the job. travel charges. Ask about licensing.

"I contacted Taylor Construction in February 2018 to repair a small section of roof and nearby fascia. Granted that weather in the eastern US this year was wet, and scheduling outdoor work was a challenge, but Taylor never once in 9 months contacted me to discuss scheduling or to let me know that we were still on their to-do list - and we did have many rain-free days mixed in with the rainy ones. Because of their unresponsiveness, I called in July to inform them that we would go with someone else - they whined about the weather and convinced me to give them another chance. I reluctantly agreed, stressing that I needed to know when they would be starting work - I never heard from them again. Thankfully we never signed a contract. So, I cannot comment on the quality of work or price, but his responsiveness and professionalism is very poor."

Roof repairs and service

"I noticed we had some water leaking around all three of the vent pipes going through our roof. I called and talked to John, who gave me a competitive quote, and we set up an appointment two days later. Eric and Jerry showed up on time and in about an hour, they replaced the boots around the vent pipes, sealed them, sealed around the chimney, and also sealed a dozen or more nail pops in the roof that they found while inspecting it. They showed before and after pictures of all the work. They were extremely nice and professional. Although I hope to never have a roof leak again, I'll certainly call Roof Repair Experts again when I do!"

Roof cleaning services FAQs

Even though you don’t look at your roof often, there are some telltale signs that you should have your roof professionally cleaned. It’s best to hire a professional roof cleaner as soon as you notice signs of wear and tear to preserve the essential feature’s longevity. Some indicators to look out for include:

  • Leaf buildup in gutters

  • Dirt and grime buildup

  • Moss or black algae growth

  • Dirt buildup under shingles

  • Shifting roof shingles

  • Plant growth

The cost of roof cleaning is $455 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range from $150 to $1,000, depending on the size, pitch, and material of the roof, as well as the cleaning method used.

Since roof cleaning costs between $0.20 and $0.60 per square foot, it’s fair to say that the larger your roof, the more you pay for cleaning services. Additionally, if you have a steep roof, you can expect to pay an additional $0.15 per square foot due to the complex nature of the job and additional safety equipment needed.

A professional roof cleaning lasts about a year on average, so it’s best to do it annually. This schedule helps catch any roof problems before they become extensive and helps prevent mold, moss, and algae from forming. If you live near the coast, annual roof cleaning will help prevent salt buildup on your roof. You can add professional roof cleaning to your yearly home maintenance checklist to ensure you never miss a year.

On average, cleaning a roof will take between two to five hours. This timeline depends on the size and slope of your roof and the severity of any stains. Cleaning roof stains can take additional time, especially if there are signs of moss or algae.

In addition, the age of your roof makes an enormous difference in the time it takes to clean it, as older roofs need more gentle care. If you have significant landscaping in your yard by your house, your professional roof cleaner will need additional time to protect it from cleaning chemicals.

It is not advisable to DIY a roof cleaning job. Cleaning your roof yourself could lead to hazardous falls, scrapes, and even burns, making this a dangerous project. Additionally, using the wrong cleaning solution or cleaning method on your roof could risk damaging it. While some markets offer a DIY roof cleaning kit, these products often speed up the deterioration of your roof.

To ensure that you and your roof are protected, it’s best to leave roof cleaning to a professional with the right chemicals, tools, and equipment to complete the job safely.
