Beware does not honor the warranty on work. I have had multiple leaks since the install that is constantly worsening. They came to fix one then stopped answering calls and emails. I have put in a BBB complaint that they will not answer. My ceiling is going to fall in if they do not fix this roof and interior damage, and you can not even find a legal department to sue them. Do not use this company.

Very good crew who did the work efficiently and when they finished, the site was all cleaned up! Would definitely recommend this company!

Prentice returned my call and came by same day to provide their estimate. I had a somewhat rushed time frame I needed for completion and they worked with me on that. I had a complaint about my gutter guards which they rectified same day. The job looks great and I would certainly recommend them.

The roofing was replaced and completely cleaned up by the time I returned from work. It looks great with quality materials.

When I hired them I gave them dates that I was available for them to work . They indicated that they could do that. I Had a week off for them to do the job. In that week they work about 20 hours and one day did not show up. Very poor at communicating when they were going to show up. I even got so mad that I almost fired them because of the lack communication. It took about 5 weeks for them to do the job because of my work schedule, but there again I thought they could finish the job in the week I was off. I paid the project off and then found out the they did not take away the left over material and trash and they did not finish a room that had a metal beam sticking out . They were suppose to cut it out. I call and left I message about the left over material, trash and the work they need to complete, but have not heard from them. They had some good people work for them and they did a good job with what they did, but the project manager was not very good with managing the time of the people working the job. I can not recommend them. before I hired them the bought in a project manager to look at the job. This seem very professional, but a week later the bought in a new project manage saying the first manager was more suited for another job they had. This should have been a sign ,but I ignored it. Never had the same people on the job until the end of project.

Although there were issues with the job following its completion, Prentice has worked with me to resolve any roofing issues. I'm satisfied with the work Prentice has performed.

Prentice personnel contacted me quickly to do an estimate. I wanted just to refurbish my front porch/deck and rear deck, but the quote I got was for complete rebuilds and was well within my budget. The crew did a great job and were very friendly. I highly recommend Prentice General Contracting!

I called about a half-a-dozen contractors to solicit estimates. I received three. Two of the three were otherwise unresponsive or would not provide references. Prentice provided a fair price, and were willing to answer all my questions. They showed up when they said they would, and did what they said they would do. They promptly addressed minor issues on completion. They seem to have done good work. I'd certainly call them again.

We hired Prentice General Contracting, Inc. to replace all vinyl siding, fascia, gutters, front and back porch ceilings, and painting of two story columns. We also had the back porch tile removed and replaced. The job looks perfect and I am very satisfied. It was a big job and took about 3 weeks. The crew aimed to please and the crew supervisor Noah was amazing about making sure everything was done well. We would recommend Prentice to anyone who wants value for the price. Built our home 36 years ago and we have worked with many outfits over the years and they were by far the best. Again would highly recommend.

Did work between rain showers. Very nice crew. Price was very fair. Had a small problem which, upon their noticing, they repaired immediately. Cleaned up afterwards. Would hire again if I need them.

Prentice Contracting was everything one wants from a builder/remodeler: their quote was competitive; their people were reliable and showed up sober and on time and worked an entire day; had excellent skills, good tools and were polite and considerate. We have a 2500+ square foot home. Pulled all the siding & re-sided, using high quality vinyl on some portions, cedar shake material on some and faux stone on chimney chases & under house; Versatex white custom trim around the windows; new soffit, fascia, gutters, & downspouts; stairs on porch & patio; fixed drainage on the pergola & repaired section of roof that had rotted. VERY PLEASED

I have worked with a few contractors in the area and I will have to say that Prentice is the only contract that I trust to get the job done right. The addition they build have turned out awesome. The crew was dependable and I was always keep informed of any issues that might arise. Other than your standard weather issues, the crew did an excellent job of getting the job done quickly. I strongly suggest checking with Prentice for your next job and at ALL costs avoid the contractors that Lowes and Home Depot want to sell you. These contractos tend to know less and cost you more in the long run.
