Description of Work: He promised to come out and fix a roof fan on which he'd replaced a motor. A couple of months after the motor replacement, the fan didn't work. He didn't show up for the appointment, didn't call, and when I called him, he didn't answer my calls. I was very disappointed.

Description of Work: He rewrapped our exterior service wire, corrected an electrical error on our ac unit that was competeled before we bought our home. He also installed gfci outlets where needed, three prong plugs throughout the home. Installed an exterior light, a new ceiling light in the kitchen as well as a exterior plug for our electric dog fence we will install in the future.

Description of Work: We had a circuit breaker fail and the overload burned out part of our breaker box. Fortunately we were near the box when it happened, so we were able to shut it down quickly, or who knows what might have happened. Not knowing who to call, I joined Angie's List and found Peak Electrical. When I called, Scott just happened to be in our area and he came right over. He replaced the fried breaker and my husband and I decided just to have him come back and replace both of our boxes and all of the breakers, just for our own peace of mind. He returned in just a couple of days and completed all of the work. We were both amazed how much neater the wiring in the boxes looked after he finished. It was like day and night. I can't tell you how relieved we were to have it taken care of so quickly.

Description of Work: Scott done alot of things that needed to be done. He rewired a garage, rewired some of the electrical outlets in the house. Ran new cable. He also wired my house for a generator. I will use him in the future. He was very resonable on his prices. Scott worked until he got the work done, no running off to do another job then coming back. He made sure he was done and that I was satisifed with his work.

Description of Work: Called three times, talked to him once and he sounded like he was in the middle of something, I called back and left message twice with no response. He never called back and I left three different phone numbers to reach me. I joined Angie's list to find and electrician, this sure did not work out. I gave up and went to the yellow pages.

Description of Work: I was happy to contact Peak Electrical based on their reviews in Angie's List. I contacted Scott and left a voice mail. It was returned approximately three weeks later as the contractor explained "he had been out of town and if I still needed work to call him back." I still needed work done and, in spite of the delayed response, did call back. Again, I left a voice mail, and to date have not had a returned call. I am disappointed that I have had such a difficult time getting an electrician to my home in Teays Valley.

Description of Work: Replaced outside column light dusk to dawn sensor. Also checked viability of roof fan motors, which were difficult to access. Reported that at least one was in need of replacing, and said he could pick one up, and told me where I could purchase one (should I want to buy it myself).

Description of Work: Scott, the electrician, did an excellent job. He was very professional and concerned with doing the job properly. He showed up on time and did an amazing job. He grounded several outlets in my 100 yr old home that were converted to three prong outlets from the old two pronged ones. In addition he ran a new circuit and outlets to my fireplace for an entertainment center. He even went in my attic to add a switch that will ground the bedroom outlets. He cleaned up his mess as well and all of this was done at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend him and will use him in the future.

+ -1 moreScott McMinn came out and reviewed several electrical projects that I wanted estimates for. He went thru each one and made reccomendations and told me the approximate cost of each option. He promptly returned a week later to execute the projects that I selected including replacing ALL of our outdated outdoor lighting, an addition of a light fixture to a ceiling fan and repairing an unfunctional outdoor light and outlet. He worked very efficently and had all these jobs completely in just under 3 hours. He also worked around my schedule and was willing to come in the evening.
Description of Work: Replacement of 3 driveway lights and 8 outdoor house lights. Installation of lighting fixture to existing ceiling fan unit. Repair of unfunctional outdoor light and outlet.

+ -1 moreHe does a wonderful job. I would highly recommend him to anyone. We paid him more than he asked, because he did several little jobs for us. His price was very low. He works all the time, and we're just a little job. He comes in the evenings after 5:00 or 6:00, and he always calls in advance. We tell him to come when he can. He is always wonderful. He strikes me as a very competent, trustworthy person. He's the person who can come to your house when your wife is home without it being uncomfortable. It's a big thing to have people in your home that you don't know.
Description of Work: He replaced two receptacles, hung a light, and did some other little jobs.

The job was performed pleasantly with professionalism, and at a very reasonable rate. My wife was very comfortable with him in our home. We definitely have found our electrician.
