This gentleman is jail now for scamming people in WV, PA, and FL. Anyone that had any service done by this guy should report it to the WV department of corrections.

On September 11, 2011 we received an estimate for kitchen/bath remodeling. We paid 4095.00 for a deposit. The job was to start October 10, 2011 at 9:00 am. We received a call from his secretary stating that he was sick and could not start until October 12, 2011. He didn't show up on that day. We received a message from him stating he was really ill and was on his way to an out of town doctor. He stated that he would have his accountant cut us a check for our deposit so we could get another contractor. He said to call him with any questions. He did not return the calls. We left a message at his office that we would stop by to pick up our check. with no return call. He is refusing to return our money! He states on his business card that he is licensed & insured. We have since verified that he is not a licensed contractor in the state of WV!!!! This guy is a thief!!! We intend to file a complaint with the authorities. On Sept. 2, 2011 we gave a $3000 deposit for chain link fence and installation, along with electrical work needed to be done. Told no problem, would be up to complete work Sept 9, 2011. Many delays until Sept 28, 2011, supposed to be "on their way". We got a call stating they would not be able to do the work. I stated I needed the$3000 back asap, and have not received our money back yet. Told check would be processed Sept 28, 2011. He will not return our phone calls or emails!! He had done other work for us in the past and we thought he was a good guy. Now he wont return our money!!!! Beware, pay a little more and get some one reputable! We are now in the process of suing him to get our money back.

After we signed the contract the deck maintenance which included the screws and replacing hand rails and adding the support went as planned. The problem was getting the deck and retaining wall pressure washed and stained. After the pressure washing was completed they started staining the deck and used the wrong color stain which resulted in them having to sand and shave about 20 spindels on the upper deck, lower deck and some deck railing also. On average his workers showed up to the job between 1030-1100 everyday. I use the word workers lightly because usually it was only one person for a two story deck sometimes he used his teenage son to assist the other worker and a few days there were three people working on the deck but 95 percent of the time it was one person on sight. His workers did not have the proper equipment needed and had to borrow one of my ladders to get the upper level of the deck. Instead of removing everything off the deck like my grill and tables and chairs they just worked around everything. During the maintenance of replacing the railing and adding the support they never cleaned up at the end of the day leaving saw dust and cut wood laying on the lower deck as well as water bottles. They were very messy getting stain on my siding and a table which they removed only after me complaining. We signed the contract on May 16, 2011 and it was completed on June 22, 2011. In that time I saw Mr. Jones 3 times on the job sight only after I complained about his substandard work. He never came by and checked the status of his workers throughout the day and always had excuses when I brought up his workers shortcomings. I paid the final payment because that is what we agreed upon but the deck still has uneven areas of stain on it but I was tired of not being able to use the deck. I will stain it again next year myself. I told Mr. Jones that I probably wasn't his biggest customer but I expected the same good customer service which I didn't get. He did not even come by on the last day to look at his workers product because he knew it was substandard. Mr. Jones will sale you on how good his work will be but he did not produce because he is only after your money. It is his company and everything that does and does not happen on a job is his responsibility. Save your money, stay away from HR Services.

He used a scare tactic that my house would burn down if he didn't come to fix my electrical box. I had some small projects I needed done, and he had insisted that he fix the electrical box problem for $3100.00. I gave him the check (he said he would turn it over to my home-owners insurance) but canceled it the next morning. I had a second opinion from another company and they said nothing was wrong, and a third confirmed this as well. The quote he gave me for the original work was higher than who I ended up using. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
