+ -1 moreThe first week or so went well. He then slowly started not showing up and not returning calls. He insisted on half of the money before he could start the job which we gladly paid him. In the end, the job was never completed and parts and labor was paid for that we never received. We have since paid another $10,000.00 to have the job completed properly. We have tried to take him to court over the matter but are unable to contact him, by both phone and by physical address.
Description of Work: This was for the complete install of 2 heating/cooling units and all duct work in a new/renovated home.

+ -1 moreIt was okay, they came out gave us an estimate we signed the contract and then it took them a while to get it installed, meanwhile we were without air conditioning during an extreme hot weather trend. Once they got it installed we had to call them back to the house a couple times to repair it. We have already had to have the AC repaired again this year, unfortunately for us even though it is under warranty......we can't get hold of the company. All the numbers listed for Budget Heating and Cooling are no longer in service. So we had to contact another person to come in and repair it.

+ -1 moreTook longer than I anticipated, but they cleaned up after themselves and the equipment is working well so far. Good warranty, including 10 years labor!
Description of Work: Installed new heat pump and air handler. Removed old equipment.

+ -1 moreWhen they arrived, they looked at the furnace and my dad showed them the new fan he had put on, but he had missed some small connection which they found quickly and fixed. They showed my dad the problem and everyone had a good laugh because it was something simple, but they were so prompt and so nice, I would call them again if needed.
Description of Work: My furnace was making horrible noises, and my father (a Mr. fix-it-yourself )diagnosed a fan problem. When he looked at it,the fan was literally broken and clanging around. The part was not under warranty, so my dad replaced the part himself but was unable to get the furnace going again. For several days I was without heat and couldn't stay in my house.This was last winter, during the worst of the cold weather. I called Budget,(not the original installer,) who came out immediately, fixed the problem within 10 minutes and I soon had a warm house. They were very nice and very fast. I hope I don't need them, but if I do, I won't hesitate to call them again.

+ -1 moreVery well. Crew arrived early morning and continued until job was completed around 5 pm. Removed old eequipment and area was left clean and neat.
Description of Work: Installed new Goodman 14 SEER air conditioner and a-coil with controls.

+ -1 moreI ended up not going with them. The quote was for $4500. The price was the lowest price quoted to me. I had done research regarding the equipment they were going to install. The guy seemed like he knew what he was doing. I had got some bad reviews on the equipment. So, I didn?t use him. He also seemed to me like a little bit of salesman. Other than that, he was cordial and professional. I will use this company again in the future, if they provide me with different equipment.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Budget Heating And Cooling, three months ago. The quote was for a new air conditioning unit.

+ -1 moreThey came in with a team of workers and finished the large job in one day. They showed up on time and stayed late to finish the job. They were all extremely nice and professional. Burt (the owner) takes great pride in his work and backs it up with a good warrenty. He is very knowledgable about HVAC systems and will meet your needs at an affordable price.
