Put it in twice for a coolant leak first time $1000 and it still leaked. Took it back and they said it was something else and charged another $500. Two weeks later it started leaking again. Had to take to someone else, I am done with J&K. They were very nice, but did not fix my problem.

From the very start J & K were exceptionally communicative and willing to work with my schedule. They gave me realistic estimates and made sure to do the job right. They would lay out what NEEDS to be done now and what should probably be done in the near future. Their mechanics are knowledgeable and meticulous and their prices are very reasonable. The shop is a family business and you can really tell that they pride themselves in their work. They treat their customers well, and know them by name. On many occasions I will see the same customers coming back time and time again. I even had a friend drive 75 miles from out of town to have them install an exhaust on his truck because they have such a good reputation.

They are wonderful. They're convenient, they know what they were doing and they don't take advantage of me because I don't know anything about cars.

J&K went out of their way to get the job finished in time for my vacation. If they hadn't, my wife and I would have been stuck without A/C during some of the hottest days of the summer. They are friendly, professional and very reasonably priced. I've never had a job they couldn't take care of for me.

Everything went OK. The road test was the critical item that I was looking to resolve. Since I had a feeling that something might be amiss. The mechanic and the manager both listened to the car on the road and on the rack but there was nothing that was apparent to them. And so far no problems have surfaced.

We had just moved to Shepherdstown, WV and luckily we were referred to J&K to do our state inspections. Since then, we have used them three additional times. Michelle, the receptionist, is professional, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain any and all work being done. The mechanics are also extremely willing to discuss the work and their ideas for repair. All of our cars are older and J&K has repeatedly gone the extra mile to find parts through distributors other than the dealer (with differences that have exceeded $500). The work is done on schedule, priced fairly and even when the unexpected occurs (had to get towed in when the Mass Air Flow Sensor failed) J&K made every effort to get the Pathfinder checked out and parts ordered as quickly as possible. Michelle even offered to help me get a rental car if I needed a ride home since the part had to be overnighted. I recommend J&K without reservation and the drive to Ranson from Shepherdstown is close and more than worth it.

Being new in the area we need to get both cars inspected and took them to J&K -- basically because they were close. We were pretty impressed with the shop, just the overall attitude of the staff. They later did our oil changes, and then a few weeks later we needed a new muffler on an older Jeep and we decided to make an appointment. Good decision. The were quick -- we had the car back the next day -- and the repair was done well. Michelle even called around and found a seat belt part that we had previously had a difficult time finding before moving to the area. She communicates very well with the customer; you can tell she know whats she's doing. The shop does great work at a good, fair price. J&K is now our go-to shop for all of our auto repairs & maintenance.

The week prior to taking my 2004 Acura TL to J&K, it had passed inspection at another local repair shop. The day after passing inspection, my front brakes started making awful noises. I took it back to the shop and after closer inspection, they said my pads were pretty much totally gone. I wasn't happy they missed that so I decided to look for another shop. That's when I found J&K Precision Auto Care. I knew it was the right place within minutes of talking to Michelle on the phone. She knew about my car and knew it required high performance pads and rotors to go with the Brembo calipers that came on my car. She recommended Meyle rotors and ceramic pads. I called them on a Wednesday and set my appt for Friday since the parts were special order and needed a day and a half to arrive. Friday afternoon, I received a call from the shop saying one of two bolts on both calipers had seized. They wanted me to know that I may have to replace the calipers. This was bad since there are no aftermarket calipers for my model and the parts from Acura were over $400 a piece. Luckily though, they were able to get the calipers off and repaired the threads using heli-coil inserts. I was very satisfied with the end result and the brakes have been awesome. So much less brake dust than the OEM Acura pads/rotors! I will be taking my car back to them from now on.
