They were on time and on budget.

Dave and his brother were punctual and did a good job matching the fencing that was already in my yard. They had to do a lot of clean up to get to the old fence that had to be removed. They cleaned everything up and hauled it all away. They made sure I was satisfied before leaving for the day. I would have Dave do additional work for me.

The initial contact was made through Angie's List. Mr. Turner was responsive to the questions and just one time allowed several days to pass before responding but that was due to how busy they were one week. I was given an estimate and explained the type of material and strategy for installing that material to prevent the stink bugs and birds from getting into our vents. The estimate was reasonable so we agreed to do work with him. Once they arrived, I was shown the material to be used and the work was completed quickly and the finished product looks nice. He even had to deal with bees that had made nests in some of our vents. I would recommend DE Turner and Sons and I plan to contact them for my future handyman needs.

The plans for the deck were changed by me a few times but the final product was beyond expectations. Mr. Turner's attention to detail and building knowledge makes him one of the best general contractors in the panhandle of West Virginia. He left the site clean and totally debris free. I highly recommend him for any outdoor project one might have and as well as indoor home improvements. He is very personable and above all he is a contractor you can TRUST.

After some initial problems with scheduling Mr. Turner and assistant arrived on time and performed the work in a timely, professional manner. I paid more than I had hoped but getting it done quickly and without problems was worth it.

I was expecting to get estimate within a month. I waited for another couple of weeks and called the contractor regarding the cost of the estimate and I was told they are working on it and will send it within few weeks. I had to wait another 4 months to get the cost of estimate.

David and his staff are very professional and was very easy to work with.

Dave did an excellent job in my backyard, and I could not be happier with the work performed. I contacted several contractors prior to going with Dave, and he offered the best price out there. He was very professional, and offered several ideas from my original plan that were great ideas. He and his crew did an absolutely amazing job on all aspects, and I really could not be happier with the work done. He even performed some extra, small add-ons that really made the whole setup pop and make it look complete. The work he's done has made all of my neighbors jealous. I have already suggested Dave to several friends, and plan on using him again for any work that I need to have done.

Mr. Turner was (and I believe still is) in high demand so call ahead! He expanded our deck, added another set of stairs, and had to repair as well as bring our 7 year old deck up to code. This involved new railing surround and all new hand rails. We also wanted a small gate at the top of each set of stairs just for our personal use in corralling our dogs. He made those on the spot (no pre-fab). His work was timely but diligent and efficient. He made sure every bit of work that he did was what we wanted and up to our standards. My husband can be a stickler for structural details and quality. Mr. Turner did NOT disappoint. We would definitely use him again!

Company replaced about 160 linear feet of old cedar railing with TimberTech railing. The job took several days for principal Dave and an assistant. They worked hard and did a very professional job. One small piece of trim was left off and Dave returned promptly to attach. I would use them again.

He worked around the weather and finished the job within a week of when he said he would. He cleaned up pretty well when he finished, but left a ladder here, which I still have.

Lack of communications on providers part to even schedule an inspection concerning a roof leak.

WOW! This was a fun project. We had a vision as to what we wanted done to complete our full bath, downstairs. Mr. Turner offered suggestions that made the bath even better than we could have ever hoped. The bath has of a turn-of-the century / county theme with a claw-foot tub, wainscot, & really beautiful floor tile that looks like old barn boards (his suggestion). The ceiling looks like old tin and he made a cool access panel for main water drain (in case we need) & on that he painted a quarter moon - so cool! The little details he took time to do made all the difference. I would and will hire him again. He was responsive, timely, and hard-working.

The old fence around our front yard to keep down the road dust, keep out neighborhood dogs and give us some privacy was in rickety condition. Mr. Turner and his staff removed it quickly and efficiently, dug new post holes and secured them with concrete. Everything was measured to give us the most even look possible in this un-even world! The dog-ear style individual boards were matched against a template and quickly attached to the rails. The 118 linear feet was put up by the end of the day. Some tweaks were necessary, but my husband and I are very happy with the end product. The gate was hand-built by his associate Jesse, and is much sturdier than the old one. Two years ago we contracted with Mr. Turner for re-roofing, siding replacement and crawl space update. We were happy with his work then, and are happy with his work now. Any waiting is part of the building process when you're dealing with suppliers, unexpected problems in other locations, inspectors and weather. We have not been disappointed. We would contact Mr. Turner again.

It did not go well. Very shabby unfinished work. While David and staff are kind and polite, they were not punctual. It was not a good experience

Overall, it went pretty well. There were some delays thrown in by mother nature with the freak snow storms. David and his crew were personable and professional. The took care of everything and did a good job. The only issue we had was with a painter that David said was not his normal painter. The painter didn't show up as promised, so David came over and finished the painting himself a few days later.

I did not select these contractors to complete the work due to the fact that I felt they seemed sleazy to me and slow to provide an estimate. It seemed the main person I spoke to wanted to wait until all the other estimates were in so he could tell me what was wrong in all of them and tell me what was right about his. I was not impressed by his professionalism and prices.

I'm very satisfied with Dave Turner and his company. He assisted me with the deck plans, pointing out things I would have overlooked, and delivered a detailed estimate of the design along with itemized costs. The deck looks great and is exactly what I had in mind. I highly recommend Dave Turner to anyone considering home improvement.

Dave was professional from the very first meeting. He was responsive and informative. His customer interaction and his work were both high quality. Once the project began, he found more serious problems that needed to be addressed, but he found inexpensive ways to fix it correctly without adding any significant additional costs. I highly recommend his services.

David called me back pretty quickly after I left a message. Said he was going to be out my way on Monday and would try to get by my place, but would not give me a time. Monday came and went and I didn't see hide nor hair of him and to date he has never try to contact me to set up a time to come out to give me an estimate. I have no respect for people that just "blow me off", if he didn't want the business, then he should have just said so in the first place.

David presented an accurate and indepth proposal to refurbish a home that I wanted to turn into a rental. He did an exellent job and kept to his estimate. I would use his services again.

Mr. Turner and his crew were polite and professional. They responded positively to my request to not smoke while in the crawl space. The jobs were done quickly and neatly. They cleaned up after each day with a final clean-up after the jobs were complete.

Work was slightly delayed due to severe weather our area was getting at that time. Mr. Turner provided me a 10% discount on services (without my having to ask) due to the delays. The work was completed as soon as the weather permitted. The new posts look much better and best of all don't have to be painted every year!. I'll be calling him back for more work in the future.

The work was done in a very professional manner. I was kept abreast of the timetable and the work was completed within the specified times. They did a thorough clean-up afterwards and the finished work was better than the original builder. DE Turner uses the latest software in order to accurately estimate job costs. Since this was an insurance job due the last recent storm, I was amazed that his estimate was dead on with that of the insurance adjuster. His estimate was very detailed and it contained pictures of the job. His contract was clearly written and easy to understand. My mortgage bank was very pleased with the documents DE Turner provided. There were no delays due to clarifications or contractual concerns. Everything went like clockwork!!!
