I thought they were pricey. They charged me $14006 to put in a unit for each side. I had to have them come back they had holes in the walls that they didn't patch up. Electrical wires that they had from the box to the unit just hanging down I mean how long would it take them to put a couple things there to keep that out of the way cause it gets water under there sometimes. I told them that's the reason I had the air conditioners put up a little higher you know I was disappointed they didn't do that properly. I just didn't think their professionalism was very good, they had a good reputation in the past but I think it's going down.

Wow! Came same day as called. Arrived on time. Did the work and gave me an honest summary of what he found. These are old units but he did not try to sell me on new ones, just gave me the facts on what condition they were in and how well they were operating. This is the kind of service I want every time I call someone but never seem to be able to find. I would use these folks again in a minute.

I had two AC units stop working - the technician arrived just an hour after I called - he replaced two capacitors. He had the parts in his truck and was done in about an hour. The house was cool and the bill was less than I expected. I couldn't be more satisfied. Excellent work.

We love Rock Branch. First, their estimate was less than others we received prior to installation, they did what they said they would do and were very attentive in making sure everything was 100% to our satisfaction. Great work, we will definitely use them in the future for our heating/cooling needs.

Great. Came same day. Fair price. Fixed same thing another company was supposed to fix but instead use electrical tape to get it to stick together for a while.

By Monday afternoon, the part was acquired, installed, and the repair was complete.

Our heat was out and with record cold temps coming we couldn't wait long to get the problem fixed. Rock Branch Mechanical sent a technician to our house, he knew what the problem was almost without even investigating. It was a bad inducer motor, the tech had to drive to Charleston to pick one up and replace it. It didn't take him long to get it in there, he also cleaned our filter, which was pretty dirty. I did not rate the price because I have no idea if that was a good deal or not, though I am happy with the price given the situation.

Originally told me they could replace the coil, then after about 2 weeks of waiting for a quote they said they couldn't find one and needed to replace the unit. So I agreed and had them replace it. Well not even a week after installation the unit was shutting down so I called them back and it was water holding in the pan because it wasn't installed properly. Then within the next few months they were called back approximately 5-6 times because the unit wasn't working properly. Eventually they refused to honor their warranty and I had to call another contractor out to finally fix the poor installation quality. The former owner ran this company significantly different than his rude son who is running it now. I had a technician tell me one thing and then either lied to the owner or he changed what she said because his yelling explanation to me was completely different than what I was told and then he told me he was not going to come out anymore and I needed to find someone else to repair the unit despite it still being under warranty and to take him to court. Worst professionalism I have ever experienced. Too bad Jimmy Clark isn't still running this company. USED to be a very good company.

Called Tuesday morning to set up appointment to check heating. Showed Tuesday afternoon. Discussed repair and after I inquired regarding about replacement discussed that option. Called Wednesday morning to see if we reviewed replacement estimate (sent by email) to see what we decided. Told them I was on the road and hadn't seen estimate yet, but asked if he could tell me numbers. When told what the numbers were, I asked what the turn around time was to install. They wanted to check warehouse and would call me back. Shortly called back and said had all needed for the install. Said they could install beginning next morning (Thursday) and would send someone over in a bit to double check spacing. Next morning showed up and installed complete system. Very pleased with the work crew and the install. Will be our automatic go to for any heating/cooling in the future. Coincidentally, when my husband was leaving work the day of install, a coworker mentioned he had to get home because was having the furnace checked for the season from a group he had been using for a while and asked my husband if he heard of Rock Branch Mechanical. My husband's response was that they were at our home installing a complete system.

On time, efficient, they offered to apply a special maintenance price that I didn't know about....I had expected to pay much more.

The service provider's employee was very professional, knowledgable and courteous. He performed an assessment and identified the source of the problem(s) that were causing excess water to fill drip pan area and shut the unit off. It took considerable time to do so but the employee was very methodical and cautioned us that we may experience additional problems that could occur and did. He did so instead of making other repairs that he was not sure were needed. Unfortunately they were needed, and although the employee had to return a second time, he provided a detailed invoice that described the work performed and parts that were replaced. It was not and quot;inexpensiveand quot; but we have a 4,000 square foot house and adequate cooling and heating is essential. In light of the problems described, the amount of time it required to assess and fix the problem, it would be disingneous to say the cost was unreasonable because we were paying for the provider's time and expertise. Unfortunately, we learned that a prior service provider had taken various and quot;short cutsand quot; that ultimately caused or at the very least contributed to the present problem. This service provider earned our trust, and we are convinced we have found a professional business who uses skilled employees who know what they are doing. We will definitely use them again and HIGHLY recommend them to others in need of this service.

They were good about calling and they were on time. They did very good work and they have been excellent with the follow up. We were very happy with them.

Rock Branch was very professional. They called before coming and were punctual. They allowed this service call to be a component of a new service contract, which includes two visits per year, one for the cooling season and another for the heating season. They checked my system thoroughly and even cleaned out the condensation drain from the indoor unit, which was really dirty. They gave excellent advice regarding the proper filter for my older unit to use, and were very competent and friendly, as well. I recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation.

This company is awesome. I called them on Sunday morning at about 9am and in 15 minutes I had a call back from a technician. The Tech whose name is Jackie explained that she was about 2 hours away and would get to me as soon as she could. She was at my door in 1-1/2 hours!!! Jackie is a true professional, she asked a lot of questions and then checked both the outside and inside units. She explained to me what was wrong and what needed to be done to correct it,answered all my questions and made some recommendations. We agreed on a price and she had it up and running in 30 minutes. I made the call at 9am and by noon my air conditioner was working! That is five star customer service.

Once it was determined that the compressor was bad, I had get estimates for full replacement of the A/C unit, so I didn't have any actual work done.

They did an excellent job and did not leave until everything worked perfect.

Such a quick response I never expected since it was pouring the rain. The tech (Brandon) was very courteous, knew his stuff, and didn't mind questions. The repair was made promptly and the cost was very reasonable.

The work was done properly and in good time for a reasonable amount of money. The service technician was knowledgeable, friendly, dressed in company uniform and gave good information about my HVAC system, its age, condition and other factors of which I was unaware. He recommended a preventive maintenance plan for $150 which I also purchased.

Tech came out on a monday the same day I called. Needed to replace coil. Came out thursday ac up and running by 3:30. Very pleased.

They are always very professional, friendly and helpful. If you DON'T need a service, they will tell you that as well. Sometimes hard to get an appointment with them because they are so popular! Have never had a problem with them - highly recommend.

Despite being very pleased with the courtesy and professionalism of the service man, and the overall quality of the work performed, I did have one problem. I had detected a faint odor of gas near the furnace and particularly asked that he check for a gas leak. He said he had checked the fittings and that everything was secure. He also said that he did not detect any gas odor, but if there was a leak, it most likely was coming from the hot water tank located nearby. My nose is especially sensitive, I guess, and I was unhappy with that answer since I still could pick up an occasional whiff of gas close to the furnace after the work was completed. That afternoon, I called a plumber who came the next morning and found a small leak in a fitting, not on the hot water tank, but on the furnace! I called Rock Branch Mechanical and explained my problem and how I had to resolve it by hiring a plumber to complete the work. The lady who took down my information was extremely courteous and very apologetic. She promised to discuss it with the serviceman and said that he had the tools on his truck to check for leaks and should have followed through on my request. Frankly, under the circumstances, I believe Rock Branch should have refunded the amount I had to pay the plumber, but no such offer was made. I recommend that homeowners using Rock Branch's services be aggressive in pointing out problems and demand that the service person follow through regardless of whether he believes of their existence. His nose just may not be as sensitive as theirs!
