ProCo Construction

Very friendly and professional. Never felt rushed even though I had a hard time making a final decision on the style we wanted. Finished project was beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. They also cleaned everything up nicely during and after finishing the project.

I have hired ProCo Construction for several jobs and have been pleased each time. They are courteous and professional. If there is a problem, they take care of it (and this only happened once). They repaired my porch roof, installed soffit and fascia, installed a door and basement windows. I've always been pleased. Dave gives you a written contract so there are no mix-ups and is clear on his pricing. This is a busy company so keep that in mind if you schedule them. It was never a problem for me as I never had a job that had to be done right away.

Dave and his crew were amazing. They fit us in between other jobs to come in earlier than they thought. They came in right at their quote despite running into issues that happen in a house built in 1860. This delay probably cost them close to a day, but they still stuck to their quote. The work looks amazing. From the street no one would even know we changed from the old wooden windows to the new vinyl. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.

These guys are the real deal. They aren't the cheapest and they'll tell you the same. However, they got as close to a price match as they possibly could. They came out on a Friday afternoon around 5:30, looked at the problem, and said that they could show up the next day (Saturday, mind you), and be finished before lunch. Sure enough, they did exactly as they said. I truly can't express the trust I have in the guys and will recommend them to anyone that asks. They'll always be the first place I call when I'm looking to have some work done.

Pro-Co added a porch roof over our existing deck. They did a great job and were willing to make changes as they went as we saw fit. They clean up after every day and do their best to work a full day each day (weather permitting of course). My only suggestion would be for improved communication/providing a timeline as to when the project will begin but the work they perform is great. I would definitely hire them again.

The initial response was that ProCo did not work on Yankee gutters. I pointed out to Mr. VonVille that the location of requested repair did not have Yankee gutters and he responded that he had not looked at the job himself but had sent his son and that he would go himself. I told him that with winter approaching, we needed the job done with some promptness. It's now been three weeks since that conversation and Mr. VonVille's response: eloquent silence.

We hadn't heard of ProCo before the derecho in 2013. Our roof was a mess after the storm, and after many phone calls, we could not find a contractor that wasn't already booked with other emergency jobs. We noticed a ProCo sign at a neighbor's house, and we gave them a call. That evening Dave was at our house estimating what needed to be done and what it would cost. They squeezed us in on a Sunday and finished the work in just a few hours. They were very professional, and it was clear that each person knew their job very well. Some of the men removed the old roofing, others went behind them making the necessary repairs, and then others began installing the new roofing material. They worked like a well oiled machine, and the finished product was beautiful and leak-free roof.

They have been excellent. No complaints at all. They are easy to work and communicate with. Gone out of their way to meet my request.

Time frame is slow. It was supposed to be done in October and it's January. The work is A but the time frame is only a C.

20Dave and his team did such a nice job on our replacement deck. I wanted a particular brand of composite decking and a vinyl railing. After interviewing some other contractors we chose Proco because Dave was willing to use the products we had chosen and didn't request that we order the materials ourselves as some of the other contractors did. His price was reasonable so we decided to go with his company. Our new deck looked so nice upon completion and we were so pleased that we contacted Dave again to replace our roof and gutters. Again, he was professional, price was reasonable and he told us that we had wind damage and might want to contact our insurance company which we did. Our insurance inspector noted wind damage all along one side and put in a claim. Our new roof looks wonderful. The work was done when promised, no damage to surrounding bushes and light fixtures, and they cleaned up the area well. We definitely will use Dave and Proco in the future for other projects as they arise. I would definitely recommend him to others.

It was a very good experience. They had a reasonable price and they came and did it quick. They did a nice job and did what they said they would.

Excellent! Very personable & easy to work with. We contacted him as a new customer & he came to our house the same day. He fixed the leak in the roof, and then went on to fix several more trouble spots. Definitely will call him for repairs in the future.

The roof is 20 years old with asphalt fiberglass three dimensional shingles. ProCo tried to locate replacement shingles but the design was no longer made. So he used Geocil roofing compound and nailed/repaired existing shingles which were buckled. The amazing thing is that Parkersburg had a severe thunderstorm during the week in which several trees came down. Despite being really busy, ProCo still had time on a Saturday to do my small repair. Dave then emailed me the next week to see if there were any problems. So far, no problems noted. Since he agreed to work me in, I agreed to give him more than he quoted initially.

I will definitely use them again when it's time for siding and roofing. They do great work. Great attention to detail. Great communication. Very responsive. They do work with perfection, like they are working on their own house. The owner and his son are very personable and always respond to calls and email. I was very pleased with the outcome and the work that was done.

It went well, the scheduled-ed us knowing that we are in and out of the country alot. Very congenial and we had a good conversation while they were working on the garage door. removed the previous and worked pretty quickly.

Great communication from start to end. Dave is easy to deal with and wants to earn your business. Was able to work me in months quicker than any other contractor. The staff on the day of the build were professional and did quality work with exceptional speed. Finished both roofs in the same day!!! The workers showed care not to damage the landscaping and considering the amount of nails I was only able to find a handful of nails around both buildings. I would recommend ProCo to anyone.

They were on time and efficient. They cleaned up. They even found a problem and didn't charge me to fix a secondary problem. They were very good. They were a little expensive.

Answered when we called. Did not have to leave a message. Called back when they said they would to provide a commitment and time. Showed up when scheduled. Completed work quickly. Very helpful!!!! I would recommend to anyone.

Dave is pretty easy to work with. They were very professional and though it took a while to schedule the work b/c they were busy (about 3-4 months) they showed up right when they said they would and did the work quickly and I was very happy with the end product. It was kind of a special project b/c my front door is completely exposed to the elements and he was able to answer all my questions and help me get what I needed.

We are disappointed because we turned down other contractors and when we canceled with the others, he never showed up.

They were prompt about replacing the shingles (June 2013) but we also asked them about doing some work on our chimney. They said they could do the chimney work but now it is September and they still have not done what we wanted. We called numerous times and were given excuses every time. We last called on 9/3/2013 and were told to call back on 9/6/2013 to remind them and they may be able to stop by. We do not need to call them again.

After I called them, they came to the house at the exact time that we had agreed on. They were friendly and professional. We decided on a date and time to have the work done, and they showed up on time and did the work we had agreed on. I'm very happy with the repair of my gutters. I would call them again anytime I need work done.
