I talked to the owner...he went to look at the property and was supposed to call back the next day....still waiting 1 week later for the return call.

I always heard Bowser was expensive, but they gave the best quote for Metal roofing and had the most experience in this area. Excellent finish.

Service was prompt and courteous. The estimate was a little high but that included new underlayment for my 110 year old house. They said it would be about a month before they got to it . Sure enough about 5 or 6 weeks later they called and said the could do the roof. I was out of town, of course, so I had my neighbor keep an eye on the work. He said they worked four whole days on the roof and put all new wood in the front, as requested. He said they picked up each night. When I got back from visiting my daughter the work was all done. Everything was picked up and neat as a pin. I do not know how the work could have been better.

Tore down and removed old deck and replaced it with a new one. Workers were prompt, courteous and very professional. Could not be happier with the work done. They cleaned up every day after their work day was done. Will use this company again when needed. Not the lowest estimate but a fair price. The new deck was installed correctly with 10 cement footers and proper drainage replacing the old deck which was not properly installed.

It was just an estimate. No work done, although the company is well thought of locally.

They were professional and they worked hard. They were good. It took 8 days with all the work they have to do and then they have to do extra work because the bathroom had an arch on it; they have to modify that a little bit. I was satisfied with their work. They were prompt and polite. The quality work was good.

The installation was fine. I called about a small item that needed fixed after they left. I've had to call about 4 times and they still haven't been out to fix it. I called them in March or April about an item they installed that wasn't quite right after the winter. After reviewing the problem with the head of the company, we both found the issue was not at the fault of Bowser Construction. Their work and craftsmanship were fine. UPDATE: The head of the company personally took care of this problem to clear it up. I was very pleased with his attention to the issue.

The drywall ceiling of 1/2 of my double garage had collapsed due to a previous roof leak. I called and Mr. Bowser returned my call promptly and showed up quickly to give me an estimate of $2000-$2400. I thought the estimate was high, but I was anxious to have the ceiling repaired and he could have someone get materials that day and start work the next morning. Estimate to complete was 1-1/2-2 days. This project quickly went straight downhill after this. His recommendation was to replace the drywall ceiling with plywood instead of drywall and not knowing anything about construction, I was persuaded and agreed. The 2 workers that arrived (1 was only there part of the time, it was usually just one) were more like his handymen instead of actual construction workers. One even told me he had been working on shoveling snow for weeks at Mr. Bowser's rental properties. I was very disappointed with the look of the garage ceiling being 1/2 drywall and 1/2 plywood. The seams between the plywood sections stood out like a sore thumb, so when I complained they agreed to caulk the seams, they used a tinted caulk that did not match the paint of the plywood. While putting insulation above the plywood as I requested, the other worker fell through the drywall section of my ceiling. Thankfully, he was ok, but I had a huge hole in that section of ceiling! Mr. Bowser said that a board the worker was standing on broke, but the other worker had already told me that this particular man had a history of doing this and they laughed about it. Then they had to repair part of the drywall ceiling. The patch did come out pretty well, but the paint did not match the existing ceiling on that half. They then offered to paint that half of the garage, but I had a lot stored in that section of the garage which I could not clean out overnight, so I declined. The project ended up taking approx. 10 days, the 2 workers did not always work full days, and most days there was only one. On one day, I waited and nobody showed up and nobody called. It was such a pain to be up early just in case they arrived early and then be home for the length of this project that was supposed to last 2 days. When Mr. Bowser showed up afterwards to collect the money, he charged me the maximum of the estimate of $2,400, when I argued everything I was so disappointed in, he did not budge one cent. He left with the full $2,400 and I was left with a garage ceiling that I was not satisfied with. I will never use this contractor again. The workers were incompetent and unprofessional as I found one snooping through my stuff in the garage vs. working! Never, ever again!!

Bowser was very professional through the entire process of replacing our roof. They have a showroom that allows customers to examine roofing materials. The crew arrived on time and was very efficient. They did a good job of cleaning up. The job was completed in about three days. Their cost was quite reasonable and they fixed our gutters without additional cost. I recommend them highly.

The job went extremely well. There was a little bit of differences between the time they said they would begin and the actual starting time but it was not a problem. the workers were courteous and knew just what they were doing. The drywall work took longer than what they had estimated but the work is very good. We are finishing the painting and the window trim ourselves and they gave us several helpful ideas of how to proceed and materials to use. I would highly recommend the company to friends and family.

The job went very well. The installation was professional and jobsite cleanup was excellent. We've had no problems with the windows in the 17 years since they were installed. I believe the current owner's father was running the company when the work was done (since retired?) and we thought his charge was quite reasonable for the number of windows replaced and the cost of the windows we selected. Because of the quality of workmanship, we contacted Bowser twice in the intervening years for and estimate to redo the roof and to install aluminum fascia and gutters. Both times, the estimates were significantly higher than others we received so we selected other contractors.

I called and left many messages. After not hearing from the company for a month, I finally called and spoke to a person on the phone. I had water coming in my house from underneath whenever we had a downpouring of rain due to no foundation wall being in that area and the ground sloping towards my house. I wanted to get that taken care of and the two rooms it effected remodeled. The person informed me they "did not do that kind of work". I was under the impression that they did all kinds of construction work, so I rephrased what I wanted done thinking she was not understanding me and was once again informed they did not do anything like I was asking. When I first took possesion of the house, it needed a considerable amount of work and I contacted them and was told then they didn't have time for a "small" job such as the one I needed done. This was over 6 years ago, so I was hoping they would look at this job since it was going to be a considerably larger job.

Bowser did and excellent job at a reasonable price. They were very professional and did a good job of cleaning after the job was finished.

I just love them, I love their services. They were very professional, efficient, knew what they were talking about, did a nice job, very good about cleaning up after themselves, and didn't make a whole big mess. It was just good, I enjoyed them, and the guys were super. I liked everything about them. They were really respectful to your properties and to you, and I appreciate that. They were just nice guys. They answered every question I had when they came to the house, explained everything, told me everything, told me what was going to happen, how long it would take, and everything.
