+ -1 moreI called first thing in morning, and they had someone here same day. He diagnosed problem, had to go get part(which was a cartridge), and fully repaired. I've used them before and they always do a great job and the price is very reasonable.

Description of Work: Water line replaced. Unable to find original line to repair it, so advised replace. Call on one occasion not returned. Have had work done before that required digging up my yard and was never told that it would be additional cost to not leave it a mess. Didn't want to preserve the sod until I asked and provided plastic to place it on. Workers wanted to pile up excess dirt in front of my house and not try to refill the trench properly and put sod back. Was left with a layer of dirt and sod on top that was hooved up and looked terrible. Was told that they could provide someone to come in to repair the area, but it would be $100 an hour. Did get someone on my own to come in and take care of this whereas it could have been done as part of "the job". Also, wanted to use a credit card to pay and was told that it was an additional 10% of the bill. There is no credit card system to my knowledge that charges this amount.

Description of Work: Showed up on time to fix broken pipes from the cold weather, fixed some of them and left without checking under the house for more leaks. When we realized it they came back but charged us another fee for travel when they should have found them the first time.

+ 0 moreMy first experience with this company was to install a new dishwasher. I was very pleased with the work, pleased with their attitude and their cost was reasonable. When my AC and Heating unit blew up I called them to come in and give me an estimate. They came within a day or two. The other companies I called tried to give me accurate estimates over the phone. Therefore I chose Don's because they wanted to see my home to help me decide what I most needed. They came the very day they said they would to install. This is important when you have a tight schedule and can't afford for someone to mess it up. I have a new unit inside, a new unit outside and everything has been working perfectly. My electric bill has decreased. I like their service. They are in business to make money, but, it is obvious that they are more concerned with providing good service. I've had two good experiences with Don's Heating and Plumbing and their pricing is good so there is no need for me to use anyone else. Very pleased.

+ -1 moreI was very impressed. They guy was very good. I called him, he scheduled the call the next day. The guy told me what was wrong and put in the new faucet. He was very thorough. The price was I think comparable to most of the other plumbers in the area. He was wonderful.
Description of Work: They stopped a drip and put a faucet on in my kitchen.

+ -1 moreHe’s been in business for a long time. My mother was here. She had COPD and this house never had an a/c put in. It was put in for her so that it won’t be hard for her to breathe. I have used him a lot over the years. I would recommend him to anyone. I used him when he first started; he was working out of his house. He is honest. He stands behind his work. If you have a problem after he installed something, he is real prompt about getting back to fix whatever you are having a problem with. I would use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I used the services of Don's Plumbing, Heating and Air. The last time I used their services was in the later part of May or early part of June of 2008. I spent $5800 for the work done. He took the old one out and put in a completely new heating and air conditioning system.
