They have a huge website. He does historic homes all over the state. For two years now, I’ve had a flawless overhang. He is extremely knowledgeable about older homes, and he is fast. He works alone, and does an excellent job. He is actually the only one that I would trust to work on my house. I thought the price was extremely expensive, because my neighbor got a whole new roof for the amount I paid for this project. At the same time, there’s no competition. The man next door who got a new roof had called the man who worked on my roof, because his home is also historic. He was told that his roof was too far gone, and that a repair would be a waste of his money. I thought it was very honest of the man to tell him that, rather than just taking advantage of him. I would use his company again in the future if I needed to.
Description of Work: Mountain State Slate Roofing did a very big roofing project for me. I had built-in gutters and the eaves had leaked for years, even though I had extensive work done on them. He came in and replaced damaged roofing tiles with historic tile. He rebuilt the eaves, added sister boards, and then covered all the gutters with a rubber membrane.
