When searching for a new home, I talked to quite a few agents who kept telling me the same things like, "offers usually never are accepted for more than 10% less than the asking price." I found out later that those agents were "sellers" agents and had the seller's best interest (read the amount of cash the seller makes) in mind. Fran can serve as either a seller's OR a BUYER's agent. She not only found the right house for me; she also made the entire process a lot less stressful. She gave me great advice on the price I should offer on a house that had been empty for a while and needed alot of updates, and walked me through the entire "offer" process. She made sure that I understood everything, and also gave me ideas on things that I could include like an allowance for carpeting, installing air conditioning, etc. Her help saved me thousands of dollars on the price! When it came time for the inspection, she helped me find an excellent inspector who found that the french drains around the house had been installed upside down! In light of this, Fran helped me go back to the seller and have that fixed before I moved in - for FREE! Even though I had been pre-approved, the bank that I had been working with kept stalling and pushing back my closing. When they finally pushed me to the breaking point, Fran suggested another lender who processed my loan and got me closed in a week! She always returned my calls and emails in a timely manner and was very professional in the way she handled any unexpected issues. Since she can function as either the representative of a buyer or seller, she had my best interest in mind through the entire process. She helped me SO MUCH, that I recommend her to anyone who is buying or selling a home. I will definetly use her services again if I ever have the need for a real estate agent.
