About us

Providing construction and design advising services to homeowners to help give some peace of mind and ease the stress of construction projects. Plyler Construction Advisors, LLC builds upon a diverse background of over 19 years in Architecture, Interior Design, Higher Education and construction consulting where working with clients, understanding people and conversing with construction professionals are all central skills. I utilize and build upon tremendous set of "jack of all trades" skills related to building design, construction, building codes, client interactions and communication styles to problem solve and develop workable solutions with clients. I work to ensure all clients are clear about our relationship and objectives through a clear contract, project expectations and reporting process to stay in touch with clients and keep them updated on projects. I created this residential construction consulting business with the specific aim of helping owners through all stages of a new home construction or existing home renovation. As you begin the process, I can help you develop specific wants, needs and project objectives that can be used to better create clear expectations for your contractor. I can help you establish a relationship with a contractor and create construction contracts that work for you and the contractor. During the process, I can aid with decision making and especially problem solving if construction issues arise.

Are you in the planning stages of a home construction or renovation? Are you in the middle of a construction project? Does the construction and design process stress you out? Have you run into design or construction issues? If you answered yes to any of those questions, I might be able to help make your project run smoother and hopefully a bit less stressful. I can work with you before construction begins and before you interview contractors to develop a solid set of project goals and requirements. During the construction process I can help ensure that your goals and requirements are being met to the greatest extent possible. Before starting construction, I can assist with construction contract development to ensure that your goals, requirements and best interests are addressed. After development of goals and requirements, I can perform ballpark estimating. These are for informational purposes only and are highly subject to individual contractor factors. During the contractor interview phase, I can assist with contractor and sub-contractor due-diligence to determine the contractor/s who would be the most appropriate contractor for your specific project. If issues arise during the construction process, I am able to help with trouble-shooting and conflict resolution to help ensure your goals and requirements are met to the greatest extent possible. Before, during and after construction, I can review all applicable building codes, HOA requirements, zoning ordinances and other regulatory requirements are utilized and addressed.
