Replaced all second floor windows in our near century-old home. New windows are wood inside, which fits our old house, & white, aluminum-sheathed outside. They look gorgeous and are energy efficient, especially compared to our old leaky and difficult to open or close windows. My wife said "don't" but truly loves them ... _x000D_|Fine installers capped off a pleasant experience with a quality product. Pella = OK!

Our home is 100 years old, so the "standard" building sizes of today are much different from then. Therefore, we needed a custom-built door to fit our opening. The sales rep came to our home and explained all of our options and was helpful in choosing a style and features that would fit with the architecture of our Victorian home. He took the time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and were completely satisfied. Installation was carefully planned so as not to disturb the original trim and finish around our door opening. They removed the old door and installed the new one without having to remove (and without damaging!) any of the existing original trim work around the opening, which was of importance to us. Our new door is of exceptional quality, and will provide us a tax credit next year due to its energy efficiency. It was certainly a pricier option than getting a standard door from Lowes, etc., but we feel the quality of the product and personal attention provided made the price well worth it, and it is certainly not something we're going to have to replace again for many, many years.
