I needed additional electrical outlets and did not want to go through replacing any wallboard so we decided on having the cable run on the outside of the wall for a total of 5 outlets. The height they were installed ensures that my arthritic hands can more easily use them for my various creative interests. In addition, the covered cable lines can be painted. I'm very pleased with Patrick's honesty, his professionalism, and his skill.

Patrick carefully went over everything on our list, took notes, made suggestions we hadn't thought of, including adding outlets with USB ports, replacing undercabinet lighting with LED strip lighting, redesigning the outside lighting. He gave a thorough and accurate estimate, showed up on time and worked to the job and not the clock. He's a skilled electrician, but he is also a really smart designer, and he has a good eye for how light can help with interior design effects. He's super creative, filled with good suggestions, great at problem solving. And for what you get, he is inexpensive. He has a real feel for older houses like mine, and he showed me photos of work he's done before as an example of what he was imagining for the outside lights and the LED undercounter lighting

We experienced an electrical short, with sparks flying, in the attic of an addition at about 9:00 pm in the evening. I contacted Mr. Valentine the next morning and was grateful that he had an opening in his schedule that morning. Within 45 minutes of my call he was at our home investigating the problem. It turned out, the problem was not where I had observed the sparks, and he began to troubleshoot the problem to track down the source. In the course of his troubleshooting he corrected several minor issues with some of the wiring and junction boxes in the attic as well as a potential problem in the electrical panel with the circuit breakers. Mr. Valentine was extremely professional and courteous in his demeanor. He took the time to explain what he was doing as he went. Where there were options to correct the deficiencies in the wiring, he presented them to me in a clear and concise manner. We couldn’t be more pleased with his performance and will definitely hire him for our future electrical needs.

Mr. Valentine did this job thoroughly and professionally. He explained to me what had happened and discussed various alternatives and their costs. I am truly impressed with his knowledge and creative ways of coming up with alternatives. I recommend him enthusiastically to everybody for all types of electrical work. I have also employed his services in my residence for installation of some new lighting. Again, I could not be more impressed with his professionalism and depth of knowledge and his ability to explain details of alternatives and their relative advantages/disadvantages and costs. I will use Mr. Valentine's services in the future with no hesitation.

Pat is an excellent electrician who works quickly yet smart. He's communicative about what he's doing and seeks your input if there are some options available - giving you a good, accurate overview of the work and prices involved with each course of action. During our remodel two years ago, he helped us in the initial planning and then execution as we re-located all appliances and installed a new hot water heater. He installed new switches throughout the entire house, helped us with our outdoor lighting - was in and out of the attic, underneath the house, working side by side with our other contractors. I highly recommend his services.
