Went great. The installers were terrific and the carpet looks great. The guys at Lowe's were great also. I called them from a Lowe's out of state and they walked me through (virtually) their in house stock so that I could pick a carpet that would be available right away. As it turned out they had to get carpet from the other store in Morgantown, but they did that and it was all invisible to me.

Plan for more time if outdoor work is involved. Project cancelled twice. Workers finely arrived Sat. AM and were finished Sun. PM as promosed. Team had a great work ethic always busy with minimal disruption to home activities. Painstakingly removed all debri. Very pleased with outcome. Do be patient. All vacation time should be tentative.

I like Lowe's because I can work with them remotely. I can buy stuff at one place and have it delivered somewhere else because they are located all over the country. I use them because they are not local. It is a good feature for me to be able to buy a dishwasher and have it installed in Los Angeles. I call them up every five or six years and tell them I need another carpet, and I ask them for a discount. They will have one of their subcontractors out. They immediately do their jobs, and it might take three to four days or maybe a week. It is subcontract work, and that is why they do it. I would not dare call up somebody out of the newspaper and have them do it. They really stand by their work. Sometimes, they have a lousy crew, but they fix it. So, I am happy with it.
