Mike and crew (Tim and Devon) did a great job with our roofing project. They arrived early (by 7am) and worked a full day only stopping for a short lunch break. They were all very professional, respectful and friendly. They cleaned up the construction debris each work day and gathered up tools and made sure nothing would be in our way. Mike checked with us often to make sure we were happy with the way the job was progressing. This concern was very much appreciated. We now have a beautiful new roof and would hire Kinsley Construction again!

This is the second time I have had Mr. Kinsley do work for me. He is a man of integrity and knows how to do the job right the first time. I waited for him to be available to do the job because I knew it would be done right--I had quotes from two other contractors, one was almost 30% higher, one was about 5% lower. I am glad I waited and paid a nominal amount more to have things done right. Clean up was complete the first time. I will definitely use Mr. Kinsley again for contractor work.

Mike was great to work with and his group did a fantastic job removing and replacing shingles/roof decking/ridge vents and gutters on a steep roof in Morgantown. His price was not the lowest or highest but was in the middle of 4 estimates we received. However, others in our community had used Mike for other large construction jobs and they recommended him for this thoroughness and professionalism. We had the same experience with him and would recommend him to others. He kept a clean job site and was willing to work with us on scheduling the job during a convenient time.

Mike Kinsley's was very responsive and professional. Started job when promised and kept me informed of job progress with pictures. Roof was bowing in several areas. Replaced 50 sheets of plywood and added additional rafters to pie shape part of roof. Added box vents to pie shape for better air flow. Replaced underlayment and ice shields and shingles on entire roof. Great cleanup when job completed.

Mike, Tim and the crew did a great job on the roof and were very pleasant to deal with. The project took a few days and at the end of each day the yard was tidy and picked up. The roof looks great!!

Oh, my goodness! We were so impressed! Michael was personable, punctual, and professional. He is extremely picky about who works with him, too, which made us more comfortable working with him and his team. The price was definitely fair given how picky he is about the quality of the work and the people that work with him. The job was done quickly and with great quality. We were extremely pleased and would definitely hire him again. Our job was resurfacing the bricks above the roof line (sort of a stucco on our existing bricks) on our chimney and removed and replaced the chimney cap.

We have worked with other contractors and our experience with Mike far exceeds our previous experiences. He responded very quickly to our initial inquiry and made it easy to get our project started and finished in a short period of time. He is knowledgeable about his work and its quality reflects his years of experience. It is evident that he and his crew take pride in their work and pay attention to detail. Mr. Kinsley and his crew were professional and polite. Although he was busy with other jobs when I called, he came and provided a temporary fix until he could finish the other jobs he was working on at the time. He soon returned and completed all the work as we discussed all details handled the first time. He was very accommodating to my night time work schedule. The repair has had no problems and I would use him again.

Only Mike Kinsley agreed to do the work THAT I WANTED. The estimate was right in line with the other three estimates, even considering the extra work that I was requesting. And Mike followed up and worked with me to schedule the job for when I had the funds available. Mike also scheduled the work and payments in three parts, taking the first payment when his crew started the work, rather than wanting every dollar up-front before even scheduling. This showed Mike to be honest and willing to work with the home owner. Mike and his crew were amazing in the conduct of the work! They were friendly and respectful, answered all of my questions as the work was progressing, and cleaned the work area at the end of each day. Mike kept me posted as to when they would be there each day and what work they would be doing. In replacing a larger roof, the issue of inclement weather is a concern, especially as this work was being done in the late Fall. Mike never left any area of my roof open and exposed to the elements, despite a number of rainy (and even snowy) days as the job progressed. I requested extra work as the job went on, as it was clear there was damage to the sides of the house and areas of the soffit and fascia from the badly deteriorated roof; an old unused chimney needed to come down, as well. Mike worked with me on a very fair price for this additional work, and then fit it into the on-going job. With the removal of leaking vents, sky-light, and chimney, my fourth-floor attic has been transformed from an unusable space full of buckets to catch leaks into a warm and dry area that I will now be able to use as additional living space. The green architectural shingles really set off the beautiful lines of the roof. I am absolutely thrilled with my new roof—and so are my neighbors! Come by and see my new roof at 808 Ridgeway Avenue in Morgantown. I will have additional work to do on this old house in the near future. I will be calling on Kinsley Construction to do that work because I know the price will be fair and the quality will be outstanding. He is a true professional! After obtaining several bids, I signed a contract with Mike Kinsley early in the summer. Due to his crowded work schedule, he was unable to begin the actual work until mid-October. Early on, he generously sent a crew to tarp the problem area so that no additional damage would occur before he could start. Even though material costs had risen in the interim, he honored his originally quoted price and still gave me my senior discount! Once they began, the crew was courteous, always showed up promptly and worked efficiently. The old cedar shakes were removed and transported to the dump, damaged roof areas and fascia boards were repaired, new drip edge installed, and new shingles, ridge vents, etc. installed. I am very pleased with the finished product and with the manner in which the work proceeded. This company stands behind its work and wants to be sure the customer is completely satisfied. I highly recommend this company and plan to have them back in the spring for work on another project.

Good service with careful work and cleanup. Minimized the mess from the old roof removal. Work was spread out over two weeks but contractor kept informing details of the work schedule and coordinated with the customer.

I received an immediate response from Mike. Although he stated that he was busy with other jobs, he offered to come to my hone to help me. He told me that he had experience in metal roofs, he had never worked with a particular manufacture of my shingle metal roof. I was contacted by a highly rated Angie's List roofer who had installed my particular type of roof and who would be available immediately. Mike's honesty cost him this job but gained my respect by doing right by me and my family. I wii be contacting Kinsley Construction for future dry walling and other projects. And I will be recommending him to anyone needing a contractor.

Mike Kinsley is prompt, courteous, and professional. We had a leak in the roof of our house and in the entryway below the bathroom of our garage/apartment. Mr. Kinsley and his brother saved the day. They worked diligently to get the job done well and responded quickly to any issue. Kinsley Construction is both affordable and reliable. Highly recommended.

I found this contractor very friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. A contract has been signed but due to his busy work schedule, work will not be started until late summer. I will be happy to place an update when work has been completed.
